I was looking for a good tapas bar in Los Cristianos and stumbled upon this hidden gem.
I visited twice to see if it was just as amazing the second time—and it was even better.
The service was outstanding. The person running the place does such an excellent job. Here are a few reasons why: It’s always nice when staff check in to make sure everything is to your liking. Ask for their recommendations—you won’t be disappointed. They offered some great tips that were in the customer’s best interest (for example, suggesting a bottle of wine instead of two glasses because it was more cost-effective). They paid attention to my daughter, which was very much appreciated as children are often overlooked in restaurants.
The food was fantastic, featuring items you won’t find in most other tapas bars. The anchovies, in particular, were amazing!
If you want to be sure of getting a table, it’s best to make a reservation. However, we arrived around 12:00 and 1:00 PM, and there was still space available at...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Damian’s Bar & Tapas, and it was an experience worth sharing. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the sizzling prawns. They were exceptional—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served with just the right amount of sizzle to make them a showstopper.
Complementing the meal was a glass of their delightful sangria. The blend was refreshing and balanced, offering a perfect mix of sweetness and citrus that paired wonderfully with the tapas.
The burger, though not the main attraction, was pretty good. Juicy and well-seasoned, it stood its ground among the more traditional tapas dishes.
What truly set the evening apart, however, was the host, Damian. His amazing energy and constant smile created a welcoming atmosphere that made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Damian’s enthusiasm and genuine warmth are reasons enough to visit again.
Overall, Damian’s Bar & Tapas is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy great food and exceptional...
Read moreWe found an amazing little Tapas Bar just at the bottom of the Guayero Apartments where we are staying to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and this is where we went on the night of the anniversary because of all the fantastic reviews we had read. We mentioned this when booking and Damian went out of his way to make sure we had a really special night. He gave us his best table and a free glass of cava each. The food itself was wonderful, the best tapas we’ve ever had, prepared by Paula, his lovely English wife. The sangria was also the best we’ve ever had and probably the strongest too! We finished with an unusual liqueur coffee called Barraquito. Damian and his team are so friendly and attentive and work so hard and I am so grateful to them for making our special celebration perfect. We booked straight away to go back on our last night. More photos added from our last night. Can’t...
