Dreamers Bar — Restaurant in Arona

I have just returned from Los Cristianos. Dreamers Bar is incredible and an absolute must visit! The food is delicious and very reasonable priced. My family and I eat there several times. I can highly recommend the Chille Con Carne, the steak pie 🥧, the cheese and onion pie 🥧, the chicken burger and the 10oz sirloin was incredible! The service is exceptional with no waiting for table service as the staff are very attentive. There is Sky Sports and TNT for all your sport needs. You can sit inside or outside and there is a pool table too. Entertainment wise, well what can I say; we were entertained every night with two acts each evening. Highlights were Stevie G, George Pena (The New Yorker, who can do an amazing Yorkshire accent!), Byron Noble with the smooth, soulful voice. Look out for the karaoke 🎤 too. There is a midnight treat with Jimmy/ Jippy, not sure of the name (sorry). Finally, your host Andy P, what absolute quality! Had us laughing all night, his interaction with the customers was second to non. He helped give my son (Sam) the confidence to sing karaoke for the first time, he sang Hotel California, and Wake me up before September ends. Andy's coaching and influence on Sam was fantastic. Compare is great and makes the place. We always visit while on holiday but was shocked this time by the waitress staff. They continually walk around collecting empties but also picking up cans and shaking them which is annoying when they both do this every few minutes!!! I also witnessed a table of 3 pensioners being asked to leave because they had finished their drinks even though they were only waiting for the act to finish. One of them did purchase any other drink but they kept coming back over to try and take the glass and can which the customer snatched back a few times. Definitely put us off...

Good bar in the Los Cristiano's area, just off the sea front, so nicely located, depends where you're staying. Nightly entertainment of a pretty good standard, seen more of the singers this time round. But there's normally some Karaoke and a Compere that does some games from previous visits. Not had food here, but noted somebody got a pretty good plateful on one visit 🙂 Can't comment on the price of all drinks, but beer was €2 during the day and €3.50 at night, pretty much the going rate especially the night rate, where some places prices go up after...
