We visited here last week as a family of 4. We had a lovely table with a seafront view. The atmosphere was lovely with music on low on the background. We were served by a lovely Italian guy (not sure of his name). He was on his own and worked so so hard to make sure we were looked after. Myself and my mother-in Law shared a bottle of wine, he allowed us to try it before decided if it was the one of us. 3 of us had the 300 steak. We weren’t sure what to expect/how much steak but we weren’t disappointed. We almost had too much steak for 1 person and probably could have shared a 300 between two ( if you have lots of sides like we did). We had garlic mushrooms, chips and a traditional cheese dish to share which were all absolutely beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking the steak on our own grill as we could cook it to how we liked it, adding sauces/spices when required. The stone stayed hot for about 40 mins too so you didn’t need to cook it all at one. The service was 10/10 and so was the food. One happy...
Read moreTerrible & Appalling service with mediocre food. Waiters were dismissive and ignoring us. Seemed more interested in dragging new customers in than actually serving seated customers. Waited over 20 minutes just to get a waiter to take our order yet somehow the customer next to us managed to get theirs within 5 minutes of seating after we had been waiting so long. Continued to be ignored until we’d have to drastically wave at the servers who were conveniently completely looking away from us. Felt targeted and utterly disrespectful. The meals were ok at best, side dishes were served without signature sauce and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for 2 small pots of sauces after asking 2 different waiters. Could not get their attention for the bill until one of the female bar servers had to get involved and ask them for us. I’ve never experienced such terrible service. Will never be going here again and do not...
Read moreVery misleading! The menu and all pictures outside show pictures of what looks like a fillet steak cooking on the rocks which is what made us go in. We were disappointed to find that they didn’t have fillet steak on the menu. We ordered the entrecot steak and it came in thinly sliced pieces. We have done this experience at several other places and always been given a full steak. This thinly sliced steak could have been anything, we thought it tasted suspiciously like cheap frying steak. With it coming sliced it also meant that you had to eat it as you went along rather than cooking all of the steak at once then enjoying the meal. This was a problem because it meant that we had to cook the steak, eat the steak and constantly bat away the flies all at once. The experience was not relaxing at all or enjoyable. On the positive side the Canadian potatoes and...
