Enjoyed every meal both Playas Los Américas and Los Cristianos during my stay from 19th-24th March EXCEPT on the last night we (5 in our group) chose this restaurant and I will never go back! Our starter had to be sent back it was under cooked it came back over cooked it was awful, some of our group tried to eat theirs but regretted it later in the evening, I told the manager it was awful and she turned and walked off and then all the staff treated us like we had done something wrong. If feedback is not acceptable then I think it's time to move to a new business as customer service is your business. We felt like getting up and leaving, we did stay as we didn't want to leave as we are aware of how hard the staff in restaurants work and they had cooked our main course, this was ok, just ok but the frostiness made for a horrible atmosphere which ruined our last meal. We were charged for everything which amazed me as I said our starter was inedible, we paid, we didn't tip and promptly left. Would not recommend. Manager and staff would benefit from customer service course.

This was the only place we repeated during our week in Tenerife. We had the chef’s suggestion, Marbella(twice!)- a dish of his own invention, made up of steak wrapped around avocado, canary cheese and Serrano ham, drenched in luxurious gravy. We had this to share betweeen the two of us, and we also had tostas with garlic, tomato and Serrano ham. This restaurant is the highlight of our trip. The chef really outdid himself with this dish, and the cocktails are beautiful too- try the shamrock dreams instead of dessert. For two starters, the Marbella to share (with spuds and veg), 4 shamrock dreams, a glass of wine and a bottle of water we paid 54€ it’s a bargain, and with a marvelous view of the port and the sea to top it all off.

Honestly the best overall restaurant I have eaten in during the last 6 visits to the island. The steaks are excellent value, well cooked and full of flavour, the pork tenderloin from the specials menu is delicious, great flavours of apple ,sultana garlic and red wine with some of the most tender pork loin I have ever eaten. All served with choice of salad or veg with chips or canarian potatoes. The fish items on the menu and the paella are all top quality dining. The staff are all very freindly and offer an unhurried service and an ideal location not bothered by any looky looky men . Average meal cost with drink approx 25 euros pp. Would highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I went here for a meal last night, as we were celebrating our 50th birthdays, initially polite to get us in to the restaraunt, ordered drinks, then ordered our food. Had to wait nearly an hour for our food, my wife ordered the grilled Salmon with Canarian Potatoes. When the food did eventually arrive, the Salmon came with chips not Canarian Potatoes, the Salmon was very chewey and wasnt fresh, more a re-heated frozen Salmon, so my wife left it, it was about 15 mins before a waiter came near the table so we could ask him where the Canarian Potatoes were, the waiter just pulled his face, shrugged his shoulders and walked off. After another 30 mins another waiter asked if everything was ok and we said no, mentioning the bad quality of the Salmon and no Canary Potatoes, then a woman came over and we told her about the Salmon, we said we want to speak to the manager, we were told he wasnt there, and that there were no Canarian Potatoes available, which we werent told when ordering the food by another waiter! We just said can you knock the Salmon off the bill, then the woman muttered something and walked off with the plates. Another waiter then came to the table a taller older man and said no refund for the Salmon in a very abrupt manner, we just said no we are not paying for the Salmon, however, we will pay for the rest of the bill so he kept saying no and he phoned the police, then said enjoy your holiday to us! We waited for the police to turn up, which they did, the young waiter acted as a translater, as we basically told the police what happened, one policeman took a picture of our Passports and got our Mobile numbers, so I asked him why are you doing that as he was been very arrogant and aggressive towards my wife he eventually said it was for his report!! The other policeman was talking to the tall older waiter who was been very animated, basically he was telling the police we refused to pay any of the bill and we were informed about the Canarian Potatoes which we disagreed with, as he was lying to the police, the police eventually told us once you take a bite out of your food in a restaraunt in Spain you pay for it, regardless if it is bad or not!! Eventually we paid for it as we weren't getting anywhere with the police as they were siding with the Spanish staff at the restaraunt, and trying to intimidate us! Overall a very humilating, stressfull experience for us, as the Spanish staff in this place were very rude and displaying obvious dislike towards English customers as a whole and this is a tactic they have used before when customers have complained when reading other reviews for this restaraunt by getting the police involved. We are absolutely disgusted in the arrogant attitude of the woman and older waiter, avoid going here and spend your money where others appreciate their customers and provide a good level of customer service and food! And to note the woman is...

BEWARE ! WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT USE HERE AGAIN ! We stopped off for a cocktail, nothing fancy just a Pina Colada, the first one arrived tasted odd, not creamy due to lack of coconut cream plus no alcohol, which there is an option of no alcohol on the drinks menu, but even that contains coconut, asked waitress to change it for what we had ordered and actually pointed it out on the menu. On her return, she didn’t even look at us, just plonked the drink on the table and wandered off. Unfortunately it would appear that all that had happened was they had tipped the returned drink into a cocktail glass add a slice of pineapple and that’s it. Obviously this was still unsatisfactory and as we discussed what to do a couple at a table close by asked if we were complaining about the lack of coconut and alcohol in a Pina Colada as they had ordered one which also lacked coconut cream and alcohol ! So we once again asked for it to be changed pointing out the drink and what it should consist of to a different waitress, she took it away, and sometime later the waitress who had served us first returned with the same drink, in the same glass, dumped it down in front of my wife while muttering something in Spanish and walked off. At this point there seemed to be no point in sending it back again, so we asked for the bill. When it arrived the “Pina Colada” was still on the table untouched other than a sip just to establish if this was any better, but it was still charged at full price ! So beware if you use this place as it appears common practice to leave out the alcohol, but charge...

I visited here for the first time with friends who had recommended it. Ordered our drinks and it took an age for our drinks to be served, which they got wrong. Thought nothing of it. Went on to order food, of which there was limited choice due to availability of items. No pepperoni pizza, no red wine sauce or pepper sauce. Despite it not being that busy, our food took over an hour to arrive. Upon food arriving, we were informed that only one portion of Canarian potatoes was available despite charging us for 2. Chicken was dry, over cooked, tough and unpleasant. On informing the manager, she didn’t seem that phased and quite frankly disinterested, offering me three options which included lasagne, bolognese or carbonara, all of which I cannot eat. She shrugged nonchalantly and walked away, pretty much with the attitude that she didn’t care. Carbonara that was ordered for my sister was freezing cold, tasteless and inedible. We are charged for food that we didn’t even receive (potatoes and vegetables) the waiters don’t really care and don’t seem to like British holidaymakers. Avoid at all costs as the bad, below par food made my sister ill. Save your money. Lots of other nice restaurants...
