Magus Gastrobar — Restaurant in Arona

Well, we are coming back to this restaurant for the last 3 days straight since we came first time and we will be back again for sure. I think it gives you an idea of how great of an experience you can expect here.

The place is small and cozy, located inside the marina which gives immaculate vibe of the sea and marine life.

Has great view of the Teide in sunny days and the sunset is also positioned ideally when you are here in the evening.

Sangria is to die for, staff makes you feel as “regular” on the second visit. I already know that this place, those meals and this staff will be the spotlight of my stay in Tenerife.

It is such such a shame that for such good food they have the most terrible ever. We were 10, the slowest service ever while there was only one more table of 3. We had to wait over 2 hours to eat and have all our orders served. When we wanted to cancel the paellas and hamburger cause it took too long and we just wanted to leave they brought them, no one was hungry anymore, we asked to take away they didn’t have appropriate packaging, the old man was overall not really nice on top of it. There are at least 3 items that should not have been billed!!! It’s scandalous behavior, not any...

This is by far the best local restaurant we’ve been to in Tenerife! The food is amazing, the service that some describe as “slow” is attentive and kind, and the atmosphere is lovely! This really is a hidden gem!

We didn’t expect this based on reviews, but to all real foodies out there, this is a must!
