We discovered this place not long ago and decided to give it a try since I’m a big Dim Sum fan. We were lucky because when we visited (Sunday at lunchtime), the place wasn’t very busy, so we got a table without a reservation (though I would still recommend booking, just in case).
We ordered everything to share, including the dumpling with the little braid on top (sorry, I can’t remember the name), steamed rice balls with chicken, and a ramen dish. One thing I really liked was that you could tell the dough was handmade—it was thick and chewy, both for the dumplings and the ramen noodles. All three dishes were very tasty.
I’m not Asian, so I can’t comment on the authenticity :) My judgment is based purely on personal taste, and I loved that the food was freshly made. Considering there are so many touristy places in the area, I think they’re doing a pretty good job!
The only teeny-tiny downside was that the tables were a bit small. When all the dishes arrived, we struggled to fit the plates, the steaming basket, and everything else.
