Today I have eaten that an authentic delight. at Tomás's bar ... the best patatas bravas in Barcelona and I think that it's like entering your home ... a simple place, fast service, close .. of sarria which is one of the most traditional neighborhoods from Barcelona and with € 10 you eat and enjoy definitely you can not miss it.

señoras y señores, ustedes saben que son las patatas bravas ?? no lo saben ... ? pues son trocitos pequeños de papá cocida lentamente y crujiente por fuera hechos de forma casera, en aceite de oliva y una salsa brava ... ustedes saben que una salsa de patatas bravas? es un ligero baño de algo picante que te da fuego en la boca pero que gusta. hoy he comido eso una auténtica delicia. en el bar de Tomás ...las mejores patatas bravas de Barcelona y yo creo q de España es como entrar a tus casa ... un lugar sencillo, de atención rápida, cercano.. de sarria que es uno de los barrios más tradicionales de Barcelona y con 10€ comes y disfrutas definitivamente no te lo puedes perder.

Bar El Tomàs is broadly known in Barcelona for having one of the best "patatas bravas" in the city... and I do agree. I dare to say they must be in the top 3. Still, my major concern with El Tomàs is that their bravas is the only good -exellent- tapa they have. Any other tapa is not worth it at all. Today we tasted -again- other tapas beyond the "bravas" and they keep the same: neither the fritters, nor the dumplings, nor the artichokes, nor the russian salad, nor nothing else! I cannot understand how they can be the best the bravas and not invest a penny to improve any other one!!!

Anyway, El Tomàs is definitely a must in Barcelona, No discussion. Yet good to go for the bravas and bear and then move to another place for the full meal.
