Casa Filomena — Hotel in Barcelona

Excellent and very pleasant stay in the Sarria Barcelona neighborhood.|Sarria is a very nice block in Barcelona , authentic and not "touristic", here you will experience the "real" Barcelona. |We received a warm welcome from Pati. She is very nice and hospitable. Casa Filomen has only 2 rooms so everything is very personal and nice.|There is a fully equipped kitchen downstairs and an excellent coffee machine.|Coffee is free.|There are several bakeries in the vicinity and there is even one bakery just across from the hotel. |Very handy as you can make your own breakfast at your convenience and at the time that suits you the best. The room was clean and with a nice design and personal touch. In the neighborhood you will find several good restaurants. I can really highly recommend Casa Filmomena. This is a farmhouse style property in the city of Barcelona. The district is Sarria and it seems to be very upmarket with swanky clothes shops and plenty of cafes bars and restaurants nearby. Barcelona city centre is walking distance but it takes at least half an hour. The room was medium sized and very nicely decorated with a small balcony. The only downside is the noise from the restaurants next door. The owner Pati is very sweet and helpful. There is a kitchen with your own fridge available to use or Pati will cook for you but there is no obligation here. There is a courtyard attached to the kitchen. Breakfast is 10 euros each. I thought the room was very relaxing to stay in and really enjoyed the stay if you don't want a hotel. You can stroll around the shops in Sarria and eat out...

Nice place in quiet neighborhood. Pati, the host, was very helpful and made sure we got an extra ordinary time in Barcelona.

There are several bakeries and a grocery store right on the very street. It is easy to make your own breakfast arrangement. There is access to a kitchen with fridge, filtered water and good coffee.
