Before I share anything about our experience , I want to say that the food is decent. BUT... First, we already saw it on the menu, where you need to order 3 dishes per 2persons, but they forced us to order even extra because our daughter was sitting on the table and they counted her as an adult as well. Service is actually quite bad, because they don't give any recommendations, don't even wish you to enjoy your meal, just throw the plate in front of you. After we said thank you to the dessert, they kind of were disappointed and started to act extra weird. The waiter came with two bills, where one was the price for the dishes and drinks and the second one consisted of several positions each saying zero. He said service and waited. When I said I pay with the card and put the actual bill on top, he said service, tips. I said that maybe I will leave something cash. It was really rude, he took a pen and said I need to write down the amount on the bill before they charge my card. I refused. The other guy then came and try to explain it in English, and I said the same, I will pay with the card and then maybe I will leave the tip in cash. At least he didn't start to argue and we were able to pay. I honestly hate places where they force you to leave tips, if you are so desperate - put it in as a service fee (which they actually did as foccaca bread, literally named as service on their menu), or at least do a better job serving your clients so they want to leave you a tip. This last encounter left us with really bitter taste in our mouth and it is not a place to recommend to others.

Very bad experience. I want to give 0 star if I can. Avoid this restaurant if you are tourist. We had to order 3 dishes for two person, which was acceptable as this restaurant locate in a famous market. There was only a guy spoke English. He recommended us to order a fish. He was very aggressive so we just said yes for the fish. That fish was very raw and not fresh. This was very disappointed. You can see the picture I attached. This was the second time they grilled, but still a little bit raw. Please aware that the fish need to pay by portion. If you have two people, they charged us €25 and €25. They did not mention or explain it until I saw the bill. This was ridiculous. We ordered a combine seafood dish as well. They cost €19.5. However, clams and mussels were not clean, not fresh and very small, they were smaller than the seafood mix at Iceland. We just wanted to pay and leave the restaurant. When I said I pay by card and put the actual bill. The waiter said there were tips. They forced us to pay tips of at least 8%. We could not pay less, which was unacceptable. There was the service charge 10% of the bill. Most importantly, we were not happy with their services. This is the most unfriendly and the worst restaurant we have visited in Barcelona. Don’t trust the positive review. This is a trap for tourist.

We ate in the patisserie area for a quick lunch stop before leaving the market. I’m allergic to seafood, so the dining area was also making me a little nervous. But the quick lunch area was great. High top table for quick service. Sandwiches and baked goods were right in that area, so it made it easy to pick what you wanted and get it quickly. The staff there is pretty busy, as they seem to always be crowded. But they made sure to take care of us. Sandwiches and baked items seemed to have been added to during our meal. So I’m not sure if they are added to every 30 minutes or so, or if we just got there at the right time. Coffees were freshly made. I didn’t realize at the time this is a smaller location of a larger restaurant they have. I’m going to have to stop by the larger location next time I’m in Barcelona!

Wow, just wow. STAY AWAY!!! Was about to give the place 5 stars then was curious why there were so many one star reviews... That was before we got our fish that the owner recommended. He made sure to be the one taking the order, good thing my wife spoke Spanish and he did not have a excuse that he did not tell us the deal. The special on the menu was $20 and not once did he say it was per person. So fish came and we asked if we are going to get charged twice, sure enough they said yes. With fish untouched we told them we don't want it. After some negotiation they said we can have half the fish, Half the potatoes two clams each and one shrimp to share. At this point we were like fine. So the waiter sliced off pieces of the fish at the table and divided up this poor fish. Not happy, but not quite at the one star level yet. Bill comes they charged $24 for the fish. Why? Well they pointed to a different dish and on another menu with different pricing. They said we should know our fish and the fish we got was the $24 fish. The owner wanted to call the POLICE over $4 we were disputing. I did not want to waste more time over the $4 although the grey haired owner was happy to claw his $4 and make a scene at the restaurant. What a complete rip off. Such a shame, the food was pretty tasty. The poor servers have to deal with this all the time, they actually apologized to us on a...
