Els Tres Tombs — Restaurant in Barcelona

In 2011, I visited this place with my wife and her friend. We ended up getting our things stolen on the top floor which had our IDs, phone, and money. We initially felt safe and we weren't being careless, but somehow we got our belongings taken. We conveniently noticed when we went to pay. The workers of the restaurant/ bar didn't budge one bit to help. They also didn't permit us to review the cameras nor offered to view them out of hours for us. Luckily we had our friend foot the bill for us. Now, you may be asking why I am leaving this review 10+ years later. Well, see, recently I went to visit this summer and I thought I'd give a chance at having a coffee outside with a friend during school break. My friend and I sat down outside and we were ignored for about 30 minutes while many, many other people were served. We watched as the "camamerro" would take looks at us sternly, while galloping to more seemingly preferred customers. I eventually got my drink and it took the same amount of time to attempt to get anyone's attention to pay. I had to go inside of the bar to pay, and still felt the vibe way off. I came here for the first time before the pandemic. It was not great, but very decent for the prices it has. However, the last few times I've been back in hope of finding anything similar to what I experienced before... I find the service is worse (e.g. they do not jot down your order, you notice it, so you repeat the 2 dishes you and your pal are ordering, but the waiter doesn't note it down either, so you wait and you get only your pal's order for share), the meat is worse; as if it was grilled before being completely unfrozen... so I tried ordering a hamburguer with their mustard just to see if I could have a better experience by ordering one of their premium dishes but... that thing they call mustard is incredibly disgusting (FYI, I've tried mustards from many places in Spain and in other countries, and this was the worst by far). I am very sorry for giving the place such low rate because I used to like it, but the low quality I've seen lately in service and product makes me feel like the place is...

Waiter took awhile to get to us which was ok as only two were covering large area BUT… when he came to our table was rushed, took our drink order and then rushed off before we could give him our food order. Then took care of other customers, cleaned tables but never came back to take our order. Finally went myself inside to pay for our drink and left Was it because we didn’t speak Spanish ? Have no way to know I do know we were planning on ordering three dishes and we usually leave a tip as well. This waiter needs some attitude correction as he is not doing any good for this restaurants rep. The people inside I will acknowledge were confused by his behavior and did apologize to me so they get credit for that. Still this was my only bad experience in the two weeks I’ve been in Barcelona shame it...
