Tried booking a birthday breakfast in their space 2 months in advance and it was virtually impossible. I contacted them via instagram. They replied very quickly and asked me to send over an email with details such as number of people, date, time and possible budget. I did, immediately that same day. Two weeks went by with no answer. I contacted them again via instagram (as they seemed pretty active online) and another email. I just wanted a yes or no as the birthday date was approaching quickly. They replied that they were super busy and would get back to me that week. Another two weeks went by and I sent another message. As the date was closer every week and Christmas time being a super busy time, I just wanted to know if I needed to have a plan B. They read my message, and left me on read for the whole weekend. They replied on a Monday still not responding the main question: is there availability on that date? The details could be sorted out in the following weeks.
This interaction felt like that hipster situationship that is breadcrumbing you so they can still have you on their radar just in case something changes but also never compromises to an actual plan.
I am actually super disappointed by this type of treatment as I really wanted to celebrate a special birthday here. Not surprised tho, as it is expected from hipster locations that other hipsters support. Creating this never ending cycle of douchiness where people will still come to their local even if treated poorly, because the aesthetics are nice and it will look so cool...
Read moreI visited your establishment for the second time today because I had a great time with my friends during my previous visit. Unfortunately, I must express my deep disappointment regarding today’s experience.
After having drinks outside, my friends and I wanted to take some pictures. However, we were very rudely warned against it. I had initially decided to visit your place after seeing many people enjoying their time and taking pictures on Instagram and TikTok. In those photos, other people were clearly visible in the background, and yet they were shared on social media without any issue. Despite this, I did not see any sign at the entrance prohibiting photography.
Moreover, the picture I took barely even showed any people, as I was already mindful of privacy rules, especially coming from Germany, where privacy protection regulations are quite strict. More importantly, no one inside complained or seemed bothered by our photos. Despite this, we were confronted in a very rude manner, which completely ruined our experience.
To make matters worse, when it was time to pay, I remained polite and friendly, yet I was met with an unwelcoming attitude, as if we were being told to leave. Sadly, the woman working there could benefit from learning more about customer service and hospitality. Because of this unpleasant experience, I cannot recommend your...
Read moreThe staff is very unfriendly and ignores you the whole time. You're lucky if they say hi or bye because she didn't say it to us (even though we did). If you take a picture of anything, the lady behind the bar talks trash about you in Spanish, assuming you don't understand. Well, she was wrong and she made the start of my day very unpleasant. The coffee isn't very good and I got food poisoning. By the way, if you sit by the window in this shop, you'll be staring at a grafitti sign that says "Tourism kills the city."
I will never come back and you...
