Bistro Sagrada — Restaurant in Barcelona

Great location and great service! Was impressed by the flexibility and personal attention from chef and staff. As a vegetarian who detests meat substitutes and products, especially in veggie burgers, I asked to send back the vegetarian burger I ordered as it both looked and tasted like meat. (Which is what people want often of course) . This was done without hesitation and with a smile. I changed to some tapas / starters of pan con tomate and the mushroom croquetas, which were really delicious!! I also had the goats cheese salad and asked for for cheese to be warmed some more and again, this was done swiftly and with totally courtesy and gentleness. We wanted to try some Paella and we found this Bistro that is close to our Airbnb because we were exhausted from heat and all there is to see in this beautiful city. Kiddo ordered chicken strips and fries and they were good (i tried a bite) and i got shrimp and garlic toast and some pot stickers for us to share and husband got the Paella chicken. We kind of shared it all and the Paella was really good- it takes 25 minutes to prepare so be aware it takes time :). The shrimp was super flavorful and really mixed well when I put the shrimp on top of the toast. The paella was hot, flavorful and rich… Thank you for some great food. Our waitress Sapana is as friendly, professional and helpful… we enjoyed her as our server and thank her for excellent and friendly service!

I'm trying my best to find the words to describe how undeniably satiating this meal was. A friend and I were strolling down the street with the intention of finding a nice spot to grab a drink, and maybe a quick bite, later in the evening. The universe was shining on us, as we happened upon Denis, our bartender at Bistro Sagrada. Denis made sure to take care of us with both drink and food. The Negroni was to die for, and the sangria was equally as mesmerizing.
