5 stars without compromise!

5th day in Barcelona and this is one out of two places with seriously good food and excellent service, so far.

A tiny place and hopefully you are lucky to get a table, like we did.

Super lovely staff and very into caring for their customers.

Fast service as well! .....unlike many other places here...

We had Tequeños: THIS is how to tequeño! Flawless in texture and taste. Fried to perfection, that the cheese still melts. Other restaurant operators should come here to see how it's supposed to be.

Tostada de Salmón: what a delight! Crunchy toasted bread with perfectly seasoned guacamole and tender salmon on top. Sprinkled with herbs and chips as a side. Yucca chips!! Superb! Missed those.

El Magnifíco: if you think, the Salmón was the pinnacle of their foods, you might be wrong. The Magnifíco truly stands for its name! Toasted, warm bread, trenched in a very rich sauce on the inside. A harmonic combo of fillings and fresh Rucola salad. The sandwich turns out crunchy on the outside and the filling will melt in your mouth. What a fabulous combination of flavours. My compliments to the creator of that sandwich. Oh, and it comes.with yucca chips too.

On top comes, that their coffee is good as well and the cocktails are fresh and generous.

Even their toilet is spotless clean and smells lovely! That alone would have granted a 6th star.

A true highlight within BCN's...

They promise good vibes, and they deliver. We were looking for a bite to eat after an early morning sagrada família visit (and do that if you want to enjoy it without a million other people) and MIAM was nearby.

They’re a pretty small place and we were lucky to be seated, because there’s usually some people waiting outside. Make a reservation if possible.

We were greeted by a very nice Venezuelan lady (she also speaks English if you can’t speak Spanish) who found a table for us. On a blackboard above the kitchen area, the top 5 dishes and a commandment of good vibes only. The music gets the good vibes started for sure.

I had the bacon egg potatoes dish, and Girlfriend had guava pancakes. Mine was flavorful, with crispy bacon, liquid yolks and potato with delightful saltiness. Girlfriends pancakes were fluffy and slightly sweet from the guava, an unusual but fortunate combination that made for a lovely breakfast. Coffee was pretty good too, even their mugs state it.

We were very happy with our experience, and definitely left the place full...

For 46 eur you get:

  1. taken for an idiot, as they try to sell you orange juice from a box like a freshly squeezed
  2. blamed for their mistake. the cafe has 8 tables on a 20 sq.m. and they have a nerve to blame a client that they’ve confused the order and served it to another table, because the client changed a table.
  3. overpriced food. panckakes where good! but had only 1 strawberry cut in 10 pieces. i haven’t seen such a greedy berry serving nowhere in Spain (berries in Spain cost a couple of euros per kg).

lemonade could’ve been tasty, if not so much sugar in it, impossible to drink

nor toilet paper neither hand towels in a bathroom, only in a bathroom for people with special needs.

p.s. the owner in his answer gaslighted my just in a manner of their bartender. When they confused our order with another table and blamed us for it, bringing drinks (fake orange juice and watery coffee) after the food, spoiling our moods. I never said anything bad in reply, neither started any...
