Anauco Hamburgueseria — Restaurant in Barcelona

Great food, we were looking for an alternative after being deceived by our front door usual burger place several times, pretty nearby... and I can say that what a finding! it is definitly one of the best burgers in town and I am a local… I have tried Pibe, Goiko and similar and they do not come close... The burgers were spectacular , tasty and good quality meat, the appetisers were also good (onion rings) and the service… what a service!! Also the desserts were outstanding - they make them in-house… oh my… there we went for a cheesecake which I attach a picture. If you like burgers and good food or service, do not hesitate to come, really it is that good ☺️ Oh and if you can, ask for Jonathan

And, of course -...

Really bad experience. Firstly the food arrived 40 minutes late and was cold. The taste was OK but nothing special. The burgers looked like someone had sat on them they were sad, flat and deflated.

Then the next morning my husband woke up with food poisoning which he attributes to the burger which must have been driving around barcelona growing bacteria while we were waiting.

EDIT - We were called the next day by the restaurant manager who was very sympathetic and apologetic. He refunded the takeaway and offered us a free meal in the restaurant which we did not take as my husband was ill for three days. Added one star...

Even though the courier delivered it straight away and quiet quick without any detour the burger was completely cold. I had to put it in my oven to heat up.

The fries had still a little bit temperature but the amount was well, close to a joke.

Giving 2 stars because the cheesecake was tasty and it was a good portion.

Won’t order again, it might be rated good, but there’s plenty less popular places which deliver a better quality.

Once again unfortunately a place which seemingly can live from its popularity/location without catching up to...
