This place is a must-visit for Italian food lovers!
First off, the pizza was incredible. The diavola was my favorite - perfectly spicy with just the right amount of toppings. The margherita was also delicious, a classic done right. We also tried a pasta dish (I can't remember the exact name) and it was equally impressive. The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce was bursting with flavor. And let's talk about the spicy sauces! They were SO good, we ended up putting them on everything. To finish off the meal, we shared a tiramisu which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Not only was the food amazing, but the service was excellent too. We were seated quickly (even though it seemed busy) and our server was friendly and attentive. The food also came out surprisingly fast, which is always a plus.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious food, great service, and a nice atmosphere - what more could...
Read moreWe came across this gem on our first night in Barcelona. The food and staff at this restaurant were amazing.
We ordered the Frittatina Cacio e Pepe to start and they were HUGE and so delicious. We also ordered the Spaghetti a la Carbonara, which was everything we could have dreamed it to be. We were out of our minds and somehow thought we could finished the Pesto Pop pizza after the pasta…but we were too full to move, so we ate a slice each at the restaurant and took the rest for take out. It was just as delicious reheated the next day.
The staff seemed genuinely concerned that we didn’t like the food because we couldn’t finish it, but if any of the staff reads this…we LOVED it, and our stop at this restaurant was a great start to our visit in Barcelona.
Note: the family sitting next to us were from Naples, Italy and they gave a SOLID stamp of approval to this place…if the Italians love it, so...
Read moreOwner, I'm really sorry for what happened today, but more than 50 minutes waiting after the starter, we had nothing else to do but leave. We did all we could to get attention from any waiters to check if they had forgotten our order, but nothing. Nobody came. Nobody explained what was happening. Nobody cared. There is also a bottom to call the waiters at the table, but it never worked. My partner decided to stand up and go at the waiters, and they didn't do anything. Just said it was busy upstairs. The table next to ours arrived later but ate first, what means the kitchen is a mess. Also, they clearly prioritise the deliveries. We observed how many pizzas were being sent out.
We had super high expectations because first, it was recommended by an Italian friend, and secondly, because of Google's review. I believe the pizza is good, but only if you get the chance...
