This place used to be ok, know it's just another one of those places for tourists. A lot of local bars and restaurant that used to serve good food have started serving mediocre food for a high price because the average tourists is delighted by anything that looks different and tastes like cardboard.
They presume of serving seafood, paella, grilled meat and tapas: as a local you know this makes no sense. First red flag. Who trusts a burger, bbq, oyster, fish&chips, pizza restaurant?
Our food took 1h to be served after ordering on a tourist free covid midday. And even so my food was cold and undercooked. Sorry, no excuses. Later got offered some bread and (of course) we got served an enormous amount of it just to cash in a little more. (Very clever) Another annoyance was that the waiters had some trouble explaining some dishes in Spanish (Don't even bother in Catalan). I wonder if they speak better English.
While trying to fix our experience they did insist on asking if everything was ok constantly, which actually bothers me even more when you know it is not. When the food is bad, the service is bad and the price is bad there is no 'chupito de la casa' that might fix that.

The restaurant was at 30-40% seating capacity, and they wanted to seat us in a narrow place between other actively used tables Service felt rushed and not too friendly. When visiting the place 3 months ago, the service was outstanding.
Food Menu del dia is huge, you won't be leaving hungry. The menu is your typical Catalan corner bar menu, with the exception of most things being higher quality. Overall I would rate the food taste at average.
Price examples Menu del Dia: 15e Small/Medium pizza: 13e Coca Cola Zero...

For the food, they clearly have no idea what are they cooking. We ordered a salad with cheese(14eur), a pasta bolognese13eur and a burger. (16eur) we left all the pasta because it just tasted nothing like Bolognese, full of weird taste and bed smell. For the salad, it was very little vegetable and not fresh at all, they gave us the root of the “Lechuga”.
furthermore, the owner (a mid aged woman) was rude from the start.
It is a shame there is a restaurant in such good location but provides...
