COOKONA — Restaurant in Barcelona

I came here with my friends since they said these were really good cookies.But was shocked to learn the truth. The food here was not good and the cookies not THAT good! I have to say I expected more from this place. But it really doesn’t live up to the hype. I mean the HYPE is less louder than the silence. And for a 4€ cookie that was nothing worth it. The service was not that good and were not as nice as I thought they would be. The atmosphere itself is good but the flavour and service is the key to a great visit (whose key did not open my enthusiasm nor excitement). It might have just been my experience and I hope it never happens again! To any other customer.

It has also come to my attention that in their website they put a sentence saying they used only good products, yet they use the flour, sugar … at a low cost supermarket. Which does not scream “Best Cookie in Barcelona” to me, I mean it barely hushes a word to me. Even they were disappointed...

Wow, 5 stars is not enough for this place. The cookies are out of this world.. seriously should be on everyone’s list of must-go to places in Barcelona.

The shop itself is very unique and cozy, and the staff and Sabrina makes the experience even more pleasant!

There are sooo many delicious flavors of cookies (and other items, although I prefer cookies), so the decision of which cookie to choose is hard! I usually order multiple, and obviously you cannot forget to try it with the homemade ice cream (freaking incredible).

used to be a big fan of this place, having visited many times before, but unfortunately my experience has changed. I found the owner, Sabrina Settinger, to be quite unprofessional. She tried to sell us a cooking class for €250 but wouldn’t share her actual recipe — instead, she offered a completely different one that didn’t seem authentic.

Additionally, her website claims that all ingredients are high quality and sourced from local farmers, but it appeared she was actually using products from a low-cost supermarket.

The cookies are tasty, but they’re quite difficult to eat and overly sugary — you can clearly see the sugar crystals on them.
