Corgi Cafe | Eixample — Restaurant in Barcelona

The food is superb. We were staying in Barcelona just for five days but had to return for a second visit before we left the city! Ordered Eggs Benedict the first day. They used bagels. I’m normally not too keen on bagels but they toast it and it tasted amazing! It was so palatable that our group of three all ordered Eggs Royale on our second visit for a double portion. They have guacamole, spinach and a very generous portion of salmon in it. We just loved it! The French toast is also amazing. If we were not in a hurry to leave, we would have placed a second order. The corgi was very sociable on our first visit. It went around the restaurant getting close to almost every table. My daughter had a good time interacting with it. The second day it did not seem to be in such a good mood so the staff member took it out for a 10 minute walk and tried to play with it to cheer it up. I had a wonderful brunch at Corgi Cafe in Barcelona and highly recommend it! I tried the croissant with bacon and scrambled eggs, and it was absolutely delicious—flaky, buttery, and perfectly balanced with the savory filling. I also had the spicy salmon and avocado toast, which was fresh, flavorful, and had just the right amount of kick.

I went to this place with high hopes – I love dogs and thought it would be the perfect spot for me. Unfortunately, I was wrong. There was only one dog in the café (he looked sad and seemed unwilling to interact at all). Personally, I believe the conditions there are not good for him. Loud music, old and worn-out toys, and not many dog beds either.

On the other hand, the food was very good and definitely worth the price. We didn’t enjoy the drinks, but that might just be a matter of personal taste.
