Nestled in the heart of downtown, offers an authentic Italian dining experience that transports you straight to the charming streets of Italy. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance, complete with rustic wooden beams and soft, ambient lighting, sets the stage for a delightful evening.

Atmosphere: The decor is a beautiful blend of traditional Italian elements and modern touches. The walls are adorned with vintage Italian posters and local artwork, creating a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere. Service: The service at Bella Notte is exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and enthusiastic about recommending dishes, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that we felt well taken care of throughout the evening.

Food: The menu features a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, and everything we ordered was simply outstanding. We started with the Bruschetta al Pomodoro, which was fresh and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for the Fettuccine Alfredo, and it was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of garlic. My dining companion tried the Osso Buco, which was tender and flavorful, served with a side of saffron risotto that was cooked to perfection.

To finish off our meal, we couldn’t resist trying the Tiramisu. It was light, airy, and had the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness—definitely one of the best I’ve had!

Drinks: The wine list is extensive, featuring a selection of both Italian and local wines. Our server helped us choose a lovely Chianti that paired beautifully with our meal.

I decided to book this restaurant for the end of our trip to Barcelona and made a reservation through their website. A few days later, I received an email confirming my booking. While on the trip, a day before the reservation, I was asked via email to confirm or cancel, which I did by confirming. On the day of the reservation, in the morning, I received a WhatsApp message asking me to confirm my attendance again. I found this excessive, as I was traveling and didn’t have consistent internet access. I had made reservations at many restaurants during this trip, and none of them required such persistent follow-ups. Nevertheless, I confirmed again. That evening, my reservation was scheduled for 9 PM. At 8:45 PM, I received another WhatsApp message stating that no tables were available and asking if I could reschedule for 9:30 PM. This was incredibly unprofessional, especially as I was already en route to the restaurant. I replied that we would arrive as planned and, if necessary, wait for a table. When we arrived, we were greeted by a hostess who apologized and seated us on a bench near the restrooms to wait. All the tables were occupied. A waiter attempted to engage us and convince us to order drinks, but it felt inappropriate to eat or drink anything while sitting on a bench in our coats next to the toilets. The restaurant appeared chaotic, with several managers walking around aimlessly while only two waiters seemed to be doing all the work. Neither the owner nor any manager approached us to apologize or offer a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. After half an hour, we were finally seated—by which time half the restaurant had already emptied. The experience was deeply unpleasant. The atmosphere was tense and disorganized, with more staff than guests. The food was average, and the service was disappointing. They had given away the table I had reserved two weeks in advance to someone else. Unfortunately, I traveled from the other side of the world and put my trust in the wrong restaurant. We made a reservation for a table for two on 05/03/2023. Our reservation was confirmed when the restaurant called me, which I thought was a nice touch.

We arrived to the restaurant and were shown to our table by Dawid, he was our waiter for the evening. Dawid, and all of the staff at Le Romane are absolutely brilliant, and very attentive. Any questions we had or queries were dealt with efficiently.

We ordered the Le Romane salad (lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, Parmesan, black olives & crutons) for a starter. The salad portion was really good and packed full of flavour.

We then opted for Le Romane Pizza option, this is a unique pizza option that lets couples and families customise the pizza toppings, for us, we could choose a variety of toppings ranging from €5.5 to €8.5. For our pizza we chose the Marinara, (Tomato, Garlic & oregano) Mozzarella Patate E Salchicha Al Vapore, (Mozzarella, potatoes and homemade sausage) Ripena Bufala E Crudo, (stuffed buffalo and Parma harm) & Crema Di Formaggi Mela, Miele E Noci (Cheese cream, Mozzarella honey, apple and walnuts - this WW absolutely unreal!)

The food was absolutely delicious, packed full of flavour and looked amazing. Some of the toppings may seem a bit out there, but they work, especially the cheese cream with mozzarella honey, apple and walnuts, what a superb experience of flavours on a pizza base.

We somehow managed to find space for dessert and ordered the Macedonian fruit with ice cream and the apple doughnuts. A simple request was that we did order coffee and asked for our coffees to arrive after we had dessert, this was adhered to made us feel like valued customers, it may be a small gesture, but it makes a big difference.
