When your office is nearby, finding a good lunch spot is survival. Finding Cuatro Makis? That’s hitting the jackpot. We have already been a few times for lunch, and every visit leaves us plotting when we can sneak back in — dinner is 100% happening soon.

The food is superb across the board, but let me stop at the fried teriyaki salmon. Fresh, tender, and so good it felt like it had just clocked out of the ocean. Pair that with perfectly made sushi and rice that’s done just right, and you have got a meal that makes the rest of the workday a whole lot easier.

The staff are super friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the quality is on point every single time. If you are looking for sushi in Barcelona, this is a no-brainer.

Tasty, fresh well-prepared sushi. Prices are on the higher side. I was disappointed that our waiter was inattentive and very slow to correct his mistake, particularly since the restaurant wasn’t busy. We ordered hot saki and received cold saki. Had to request ginger and mustard for our order of three maki rolls and received one small plate to share. Our request for an additional plate of ginger was acknowledged and then forgotten. High quality sushi, delicious and made with the freshest of fish. We ordered an assortment of dishes which were all delectable. Pictured here is the cheesecake mochi which was lovely. Unfortunately the service is rather cold and one might say forgettable, which is a great shame because the chefs are serving such great sushi and the restaurant itself is cozy and nicely decorated. It is sad to say this as a Barcelona local but I don’t think I will be back rushing back...
