Stumbled this cafe while walking around and thought to try the churros...

Boy oh boy....€14 and calories for this was MAJOR regrets

Churros - hot and crunchy BUT...the dough was too yellow/oily on the inside. Something about it didn't make me want to eat more (compared to what I had at Vinitus- can't even but...the chocolate sauce was WAY too much and they still charge us. It was hot too but how do you expect a customer to finish the chocolate sauce with that little churros?? Lol)

Nutella and banana crepe - beautifully presented and generous with Nutella and crepe BUT....it wasn't tasty. It was way too thick crepe and Nutella. Didn't manage to finish because it was just way too.....I don't know how to describe.

Staff were friendly. Dessert was promptly served and piping hope. But I unfortunately will NOT order these two desserts nor come back again. Not sure the hype on the...

Plaza del Rey offers a delightful brunch experience that seamlessly blends ambiance, service, and culinary excellence.

Most importantly I must also commend Melanie for her exceptional service during my visit to Plaza del Rey. Her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine passion for ensuring guests have a wonderful dining experience truly stood out. Melanie's professionalism and warmth elevated my experience, making it even more memorable. Her attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate requests contributed to the overall excellence of my visit. Plaza del Rey is fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented team member like Melanie, who undoubtedly enhances the restaurant's reputation for...

Stumbled across this place when looking for something healthy for breakfast. Wanting something simple like yogurt & fruit, I saw they had this on the menu and decided to give it a try. The place isn't very big, but well decorated, light & airy. They have various pastries and other breakfast/brunch options, but I went for the fruit & yogurt priced at 4.90EUR. It was very nice, served in a large glass pitcher type jar, generous portion of various fruits, lovely creamy yogurt and topped off with honey. The service was...relaxed at best, slow at worst. Not a place to come if you want to get in & out quickly! No one was rude as other reviews suggested, just a little on the slow side...

Buen ambiente, bonito y comida muy buena ! Me encanto la atención ❤️ Si eres turista y has visto los churros, tened en cuenta que todo es por temporadas. El crepe con Nutela esta buenísimo y sin duda, claro, el Chocolate y Churros ---- ENGLISH Good atmosphere, beautiful and very good food and desserts! If you are a tourist and you have seen the churros, keep in mind that everything is seasonal. The crepe with Nutela is great and certainly, of course, the Chocolate and Churros, Just ask if is the season for this, if it is not, do not hesitate with the rest of food that they have, specially the Crepe

Worst food I've had in Barcelona, not to mention the cleanliness here leaves a lot to be desired. I watched a guy wash the table with water that spilled from the water glass left by a previous customer. No cleanser, no bleach, just a rag with someone's spit up water. For some reason, I stayed. I ordered churros and hot chocolate, and the hot chocolate came out lumpy and the churros came out covered in white sugar. The churros had been fried multiple times. Gross. It was also nearly 7 Euros for this monstrosity. Do not eat here. This place will give you something you don't want.
