if the pizza guy manning the oven in back offers to make you something special, accept & devour it — he is a magician! super delicious pizza napolitana (meaning crust will be thin & charred but chewy, heated quick at high heat, with simple, super fresh, light toppings. will be dreaming of Antonio’s awesome, affordable pizzas once I’m back home. One of the cheapest meals I ate while in BCN & also one of the best.

The important logistics: located in the heart of the gothic quarter. If you’re passing through or hitting the nearby museums on that part of town, this is a great spot for carry out or a quick, no-frills lunch/speedy night bite. some good combos of pizzas to choose from & lots of fresh ingredient options to make your own combo as well. each pizza is 4 slices — a single is good for one person who’s super hungry or to share if you’re just snacking. water/soda/beer available, & they take credit card payment.
