Stop here to stock up on drinks, delicious sandwiches and snacks before heading to Park Güell. The owner gave us invaluable tips for getting inside the park with minimal fuss, namely going left when you exit his store, and heading for the entrance less than 200 metres in that direction, instead of heading right towards the pandemonium of the main entrance. On the way there, buy tickets online on your phone, making sure to use the official park website. Don't worry about the timeslots, just pick the closest one. Once your purchase goes through,immediately take a screenshot of the receipt on your screen. The park website is supposed to email you your tickets, but apparently that is very hit and miss, and the site will try to force you to buy new tickets. Just go to the entrance and show the staff the screenshot of your receipt, and explain the tickets never arrived. Really good café close to Park Guell. Take the public escalators on the street, La Baixada de Gloria from Av Vallcarca (reached from Metro Vallcarca or Metro Lesseps) and at the top of the 3rd set of escalators you’ll find Guelly Sandwichpark. Great place for a last bite before heading up to Park Guell. We stopped for some cold drinks and snacks before a visit to the park and then an excellent tour with Tourisimo (ww.tourisimo.es) in the next street. We ended up eating a lot and it was excellent. Toni and his crew prepare very interesting range of sandwiches, pastries and other yummy things, just what you need before attacking the park. We bought some breakfast here before going up to Park Guell. Would definitely recommend anyone to come by this place before going into the entrance of the park, as the picnic / seating area in the park is not too far from this entrance.

We bought 2 sets - a sandwich+drink set for €6.50 and a pizza+drink set for €5.50. Both sets were fantastic! We also ordered a churros+hot chocolate, which was amazing and highly recommend to order to try.

Owner of the place was really friendly and gave us directions to visit around the park. The shop also has posters around the windows to show you information around the park. It's a pity that the place does not have seats/tables at the outside, that can serve as a rest stop for people who...
