Ben Tips — Restaurant in Barcelona

I love this place in general, food is good price is decent,, most of the staff is great but there is this one man (tall, white skin, grey hair and arm tattoos) working almost every day that ALWAYS Ignores me. And not just me. Also friends i bring with me.. i see him being nice with everyone else.. I go here almost daily for lunch and he wont even look at us. I dont know what his problem is.. but its super unprofessional... i have to wait 10-20minutes on an empty terrace and when/if other clients show up he attends to them but not me or anyone in my company.

I have mentioned this and complained many times to the other staff but its never getting better. Still the same weird attitude and behavior. We really dont feel welcomed by this man and seriously think about going to another local spot for daily lunches as its not a nice experience to relive every week...

La comida y el lugar están muy bien. El interior es agradable. Madera y hierro, con una buena iluminación. Y la terraza amplia y alejada de la carretera lo suficiente como para poder olvidar que está allí.

Ahora bien, hay permanentemente una especie de olor frito que empapa todo la zona. El interior del restaurante, mi ropa incluida, la terraza e incluso los alrededores. Mi idea es que lo fríen todo con mantequilla y grasa de cerdo. Aunque quizás es por otro motivo, no estoy seguro.

Y lo peor, con diferencia, el servicio.

Ya no hablo de 1 camarero en la terraza para todas las mesas que hay, que obviamente es insuficiente y se traduce en sentarte con mucha paciencia. Lo de hoy

En serio, escribo está reseña sentado en una de las mesas, y soy como invisible. Llevo 18 minutos de reloj y ni el encargado ni los camareros, que por supuesto me han visto, han creído oportuno pasar por mi mesa para atenderme.

Es más el encargado ha tomado nota a la mesa de detrás mío y de mi ha pasado. Ha sorteado mi mesa como si esquivara un árbol. Luego se ha quedado en la barra y en fin... Sinceramente me ha hecho sentir realmente incómodo. No estoy acostumbrado a este trato y la verdad lo paso mal.

Menosmal que uno de los camareros, aunque estaba en su tiempo de cena, se ha percatado de la situación y me ha preguntado que quería.

Comprendo que en ocasiones con 1 camarera para toda la terraza, no se de abasto. Pero lo de hoy es otra cosa.

En fin, no sé cómo esté sitio sigue abierto y el público sigue yendo. Entiendo que la oferta en la zona es un desastre, pero.... Supongo que saben que el restaurante funciona independientemente del servicio. O no sé, como puede ser. No me lo explicó.
