Gran Torino — Restaurant in Barcelona

From the street the atmosphere looked like this would be a cool place to have a drink. When we stepped up to the bar a lady told us have a seat and she'd come over to get our order. We ordered 3 Beefeater Gin and Tonics and the same person that took our order made our drinks. She looked like she was more of a bar back or all around helper than an actual bartender. She free hand poured our drinks which was weird since the main bartender was using the measure for every drink he made. When we tried our drinks we were all convinced there was very little to no Gin in the drinks at all. We said something to her and she replaced one of the drinks but not all of them. Upon leaving and paying our bill we tried to say something but the main bartender, but he didnt care and didnt want to hear it. Also, they tried to charge us for 4 Gin and Tonics when we only had three. Overall I paid 25.00 euros for 3 glasses of what was basically tonic. I gave them two stars cause like I said the atmosphere was cool and the food smelled good. But the drinks were a total waste of money. I am a local and would have loved to find a new bar, but I did not. I definitely won't be back or...

We were looking for an Italian and chose this place. As per the reviews they were very warm and welcoming. It smelt amazing when we walked in so we thought the food would be good. I had the pesto pasta and it was very nice, the pesto was homemade and really fragrant and delicious. The chef even made us some old school garlic bread on request, a real treat! Tiramisu was lovely too. All in all lovely people and lovely food, a bit of The Boss, some Fleetwood Mac, etc., made for a nice soundtrack. Go...

Che dire... Google ha fatto bene il suo mestiere... Alla ricerca di un locale italiano (VERO), a 2 passi dal Barrio gotico e dal Porto vecchio, abbiamo scoperto questo locale fantastico... L'atmosfera è quella di casa con una qualità dei prodotti al di sopra della media... Prodotti importati e di altissima qualità... La cucina è qualcosa di spaziale e viene accompagnata da una selezione di bevande di alto livello decisamente ben preparate e ben servite... Ci siamo fermati per una Sangria...... Ci abbiamo trascorso 5 ore, accompagnate da caraffe di ottima Sangria e da un ambiente travolgente dove dopo 10 minuti dal nostro arrivo eravamo già "amici" dei clienti abituali... Bella gente, locale accogliente, proprietari fantastici... Abbiamo degustato un tagliere misto tra salumi e formaggi (selezione unica e pressoché introvabile in quel di Barcellona), una panino con la Porchetta ed una Lasagna che al primo boccone ci ha riportati diretti alla nostra Italia... Cucina rigorosamente Home made! Fanno anche vedere le partite su maxi-schermo, e che vuoi di più?... Se sei a Barcellona, questo è il tuo bar...
