A few weeks ago, we met up with a couple of friends to see an exhibition and, after that, we decided to have dinner together. Problem: one of them was on a strict diet and could only eat meat and veggies. That sounds cool but... that's not so easy because that means no oil and no cereals, for instance. So Asian food: not really. Spanish food: difficult because of the oil, etc. 🤷♂️ Basically, the easiest in these conditions is to look for meat. Near that exhibition's location, we found a Brazilian restaurant, K'Delicia, and we thought that Brazilians are famous for their meat so that should be ok. Plus that place had good reviews in Google Maps and seemed affordable. 👍 Indeed, they offer a set menu with a combo (rice, beans, salad + meat), a drink and a dessert (or a coffee) for €20, which seems very cheap for dinner in Barcelona nowadays. The thing is that the quantities were very small and, in these conditions, that's not a bargain anymore. The others had this set but I ordered a different one, with feijoada instead of the meat, that was €2 cheaper but I didn't feel satisfied with the quantities either. I mean, I ate enough, but the price felt expensive for what I had. Especially because the food was not very good... It was not bad but... again, not the right price. This typically was something that I would eat for a quick lunch during a weekday. And I wouldn't pay more than €8-12. The venue is very small but it's ok. The staff is very nice. But they need to work on the quality and the pricing, in my opinion.
Quality & taste: 5/10 Quantities: 4/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Originality: 6/10 Ratio price / quality: 4/10 Service: 8/10 How I felt afterwards: 4/10

Read moreThe waiter, a young friendly man, found us seats immediately and not a minute later we had our drinks on ice with a slice of lemon. Very good service, he later explained some dishes and how the combi menu works to us, the cooking lady also helped a bit in service as it was a relatively busy day and some food photographer had their dishes all served individually as well. Even though all these circumstances the food arrived fairly quickly, hot and tasty.
We had a Bistec Parmesana and a Carne de Panela Menu each. The Bistec was crispy with nice seasoning but some other (still good) cheese on top other than parmesan. The Carne de Panela was incredibly juicy and tender. Side dishes were rice, some sort of beans, bread crumbles with seasoning and a tomato salad with onion and cilantro - all solid !
Desserts were Mousse de limon and de coco and tasted very refreshing and good.
Overall can recommend to about anyone who wishes to try what brazilian food is...
Read moreFirst time in Barcelona and we were looking for something local after leaving Guell Park. We saw "home cooking" and knew this was the place. We didn't realize that it was Brazilian food and we've feasted at several different churrascarias in North Texas as well as across the U.S. and we love them, but this was even better. It was Brazilian food by Brazilians for Brazilians. We're not Brazilian but Jocelyn made us feel like family. The service was top notch and the food was simply outstanding. We had carne de panela and feijoada, yum! The red wine paired wonderfully with dinner and the two desserts we shared, the mousse and chocolate cake were worth visiting the restaurant just for them because they were so good. Not sure when we'll be back in Barcelona, but when we return it will be straight...
