Stayed in May 2023 - Really glad we found this hotel to stay for our two night visit. Our flight arrived in the morning and we thought we had to wait until 2pm for check-in. Fortunately they had our room ready shortly after we arrived and they checked us in by noon. Very friendly staff. Shout out to Amanda from Cuba who gave us great check-in experience! They have luggage area to store luggage if you arrive early or check out early before you need to leave town.
Hotel is only a few minutes walk to Sagrada Familia. My 79 year old mother found walking there very convenient. Lots of other good places to eat only a short walk away.
I would recommend getting the breakfast with your room if you want convenience. It has good selection of food and drinks/coffee machine that should fit most people's needs. Nothing Michelin star, but good average breakfast. If you buy breakfast onsite, it's 10 Euro per person.
Room looks modern and is cozy. Not too big. Mattress is cozy but more on the stiff side. Room has small fridge, TV, water heater with coffee and tea. It also has a small safe for belongings.
Bathroom is good. Comes with hair dryer. However, shower head might be high for some people. It's removable. It came off by itself a couple of times when I had shower on full blast, so water scattered around that time 😂.
Hotel has rooftop with view of surrounding roofs and Sagrada Familia towers. Nice to sit out but no shade. If you want to sunbathe, it's perfect for you.
Luckily hotel has 3 elevators for ease of going up and down with luggage.
Hotel has vending machine for water and soda. There's also a convenience store across the street a little walk to the right of hotel so water, soda and other supplies can be purchased. I think about 1.5+ Euro for a soda can or water bottle.

Read moreIt was a great stay for 2 nights during our short vacation in Barcelona. The hotel is located only 400 meters from Sagrada Família - 5 minutes on walking. It is close to the metro station and bus stop. The accessibility is good for any attractions we want to visit.
We arrive from the airport and buy a one way ticket for 5.70 euros to go to the hotel. Then, we bought a Barcelona card for 48 hours. You can buy a Barcelona card directly from the airport because it can be used for any transportation inside Barcelona. It is a great save! There is ALDI and Carrefour express near the hotel, only 2 minutes of walking. You can buy your breakfast here if you do not want to pay 8 euros per person at the hotel. The check-in process is fast. We need to pay city tax for 24 euros and give our personal identity information. Our room is on the first floor and there is nothing to complain about. We have a street view. There is TV to watch the news. The small fridge works well and is useful to put our food. The bathroom is spacious and hot water works well. Towels and soap are prepared in the bathroom. The pillows are way too thin. We got 2 single beds and an extra bed. There is a safety box inside the cabinet. Many restaurants are nearby. We got 1 restaurant for our lunch two times with a great value and portion, El Felino. The entrance is accessible for wheelchairs. The price is still affordable because we booked it 4 months...
Read moreFantastic location with it being less than 5 minutes walk away from Sagrada Famillia. You can also see it from the rooftop terrace. The room is as you would imagine for a 3 star, nothing crazy luxurious yet clean and tidy all the same with friendly staff. ||I had booked a double room and was given a twin on arrival. After being told by the receptionist several times that “it is subject to availability”. I was a little bit frustrated so I continued to request a double room and explained that this was never made clear to me when I booked with my travel agent. The hotel staff gave us a new room which was also a twin bed set with a double mattress topper connecting the two. I appreciate them making changes but if I had have known they would just put on a mattress topper I would not have gone through the effort of switching rooms etc. ||Before visiting BCN I saw reviews stating that it is a very loud area because of the school. Personally the noise did not bother me or my partner whatsoever. Barcelona is a big built up city that is full of life, therefore noise is to be expected. Nothing to worry about when staying here in my opinion. ||Side note, the hotel also has two apartments...
