This place is amazing! All the staff working in here is extremely professional and talented. The way they can perform and make and deliver all drinks that are delicious is incredible!! The ambience is great! all wooden furnitures and shelves with bottled herbs, drinks and mirrors. interesting pictures and the good music. Stunning. If I could only take a quarter of a star off...First the only detail that I could point out of the perfection of this place is the silicon replacement needed for the bar counter. Is a whole real piece of old wood that could get ruined if new silicon is not applied..what a shame to lose that originality ! The place is lovely, an old traditional marmalades shop converted to a bar keeping the original style. The service was excellent, both barman and waiter were very polite and ready to have a chat with us and help out! The cocktails are unique and inspired in their combinations, the ones we took were very tasty and well presented! Overall I recommend this place, the only thing that it was packed with people (without masks at the tables of course) and it can feel insecure due to COVID, the closeness of the space and the sense of lack of ventilation/air renovation, but I believe nevertheless all is running as per state recommendations. My friends and I accidentally stumbled across this bar in our attempts at checking out the bar next door that a friend recommended. Turns out it was closed for the evening, so we ended up seated at the bar at La Confiteria and it was the best thing that could've happened to us on our trip. The bartenders were so warming and could whip up a mean cocktail. Maria Jovanna (I hope that's how you spell her name) is absolutely amazing! We watched as she prepared each drink with such precision and did not hesitate to let us know what her next concoction was as we starred in awe at the science behind her art.
