As I approached the doors of Laut I was immediately disappointed by the rude waiter that greeted us, dressed all in black he appeared to be high on a concoction of steroids and devils dandruff, which disturbed my frail wife. The restaurant was pleasant, with ample seating, but lacked atmosphere.. this was not helped by the belligerent noise made by one table at the far end who had set up turntables and a large stereo system and appeared to be hosting some sort of new age dance music party. Despite the noise; the starter, a bag of spicy nobbies nuts, and the main course, two ice cubes, were delicious. But the desert was ruined as an unusually sweaty German fellow with large pupils and a bad attitude started to grind upon my wife as she tried to finish her lemon and lime slice fruit salad. It is cozy and has a sort of underground vibe. The venue is nice since it is by parallel street where you have couple of bars and restaurants.
