Discovering the Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies has been one of the most captivating urban gems in Barcelona, capturing the city’s vibrant energy. Named after the three iconic chimneys that once belonged to a power station, this public space now serves as a magnificent canvas for graffiti and street art.

Each visit reveals an ever-changing open-air gallery, brought to life by local and international artists. The diversity and quality of the artwork, from large-scale murals to intricately designed stencils, testify to Barcelona’s creative vitality. It attracts not just art enthusiasts but also those looking to get a fresh perspective on urban culture.

Beyond the art, the Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies offer a pleasant retreat in the heart of the city, perfect for a break from the urban hustle. The area is clean and well-maintained, with ample space for relaxation and leisure activities.

What truly sets this place apart is its role as a dynamic public space that intertwines art, history, and nature. The Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies stand as a vibrant testament to how Barcelona honors its industrial past while making room for contemporary expression.

I highly recommend a visit here, whether to admire the latest artworks, enjoy a piece of green in the city, or simply soak in Barcelona’s unique vibe. An essential stop for any Barcelona visitor. Five stars to the Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies for their ceaseless contribution to the...

A clever use of what could have been a boring cement urban open space. At the 3 chimneys (Tres Xemeneies), you'll find instead a community gathering space for all ages. Yes, you will have to be mindful of the many skateboarders zooming around, but we noticed them being equally vigilant of pedestrians admiring the art. And yes, it is very much art. Not the messy and unwanted graffiti of tags and cartoons, but paintings created by artists of some talent using concrete walls as their canvas. Like any art gallery, the works change over time. Worth a...
