Upd: “Nausea, a slight fever, and vomiting by the evening—apparently, eating this kind of food on an empty stomach isn't a good idea. Or maybe it was poor conditions or ingredients, I don’t know. What I do know is that I very rarely get food poisoning.”
They told me that I couldn’t drink my own beverage in their establishment, even though I had already opened a 0.3L soda. It wasn’t friendly, I’ve never heard that before, but okay; I asked them to pack my order to go and left for the beach. My opinion is no longer related to this situation, which I would have overlooked if it weren’t for one of the worst burgers I’ve ever eaten in my life (on the Smash Burger menu). I’m not picky about food, but this was super greasy oil, burnt caramelized onions, and you’re just trying to bite into the meat to neutralize the taste of oil and sugar. There was an excessive amount of salt on the fries. It was just disgusting, I don’t know how much you’d have to dislike your body to finish that meal. Looking at the rating here, you even start to wonder if it was just bad luck with the chef today... But I have no desire to give this place a second chance.
Reply to comment: Yeah, it’s true about my situation at your place. But if you could make an exception in the situation where I had already opened the soda, it would be better—I didn’t have the option to close it. In the end, I still didn’t buy the drink. No one else copied this, so you could just warn me for the future.
I added the star to my review considering my mistake about the pieces of bacon, but for me, the burger wasn’t tasty—sorry, it was very greasy and overly sweet in some parts, and the fries were too salty. The latter was confirmed by someone close to me, even though she partially...
Read moreThis place brings clarity to both its food and its setting. The space is bright and open, with natural light that enhances the clean presentation of each dish rather than competing with it. Plates arrive well-composed—balanced portions, vibrant ingredients, and no unnecessary flourishes. They are no doubt some of the best burgers in town for not saying the best, proof of that is they’ve won the contest of best burger in Barcelona several times with different recipes. There’s confidence in how little needs to be said: grilled meats come perfectly seared and on the point asked, sides are thoughtful rather than filler, and timing between courses feels intuitive. The interior matches the tone—minimal but intentional, with warm touches that keep things from feeling sterile. It’s a space designed for presence, where the light, the food, and the rhythm of the service all work in quiet sync. No noise, no spectacle—just good execution, well lit… La Sagrada offers a dining experience grounded in restraint and detail. Focused, composed, and confident without needing to say so. All this aspects make this place one of my favs in town and hands down the best on the beach! Simply...
Read moreOverrated. The tree stars are because of the good bread. Long waiting time +25 mins, notice that you will see people who enters after you getting burgers before you. The burger is ok, not the best meat, is balanced but doesn't tell you anything. The extras are ok, the bacon is extra crispy. The ketchup and maionese they offer have bad flavor, don't use it in your burger/fries you will ruin them. Tried others with more flavor so this can't be a 5. Also there is a sign outside to catch people that says 13.90 eur including drink and fries but instead of take it out on Saturday and Sunday they just wrote that is not valid on weekends, has no sense since is not a fixed signed is just a small chalkboard. The best burger in Barcelona? Okay maybe Barcelona is not the place to eat burgers. I don't need any feedback from the owners, just...
