I am a solo traveller and I understand there can be customs that may be different to what I am used to but I recognised disrespect when I feel it.

It was my first time in Barcelona and I thought I could, at least, make it memorable by dining on my last day here. The waiter wasn’t very welcoming. I came from a half-day tour in Barcelona today (1/12/23) and was famished so I ordered myself a Paella, which was quite a price for someone dining solo but I didn’t mind. It’s not every day I go on travel and splurge on food anyway.

Unfortunately, the waiter, who I did not catch the name (well, he didn’t even dare introducing himself), came out quite rude to me when he said “Are you sure you want to pay 35€ for just a paella?” as if in disbelief. I perceived it as an offending thing to say, especially it felt more like I was being reduce in financial incapability. They don’t even have a maître d' to begin with.

And it wasn’t only that, after they laid down my orders, they (with the other waiter) started speaking in Spanish and began laughing about it. Shamelessly at that, it was right across my table. It was such a peculiar situation and completely ridiculous. I had never felt anything like that in my travels. Sadly, it has to be in Barcelona.

Piece of advice to anyone traveling alone, please reconsider some other place in dining. The food was okay but with this unusual service, it wasn’t even worth it. Totally unaccomodating experience. For such a tourist-trap price, the management should train their employee more.

Ps. I only got the chance to take a photo of the dessert because the waiters were making me...

My friends and I had dinner here on our first night in Barcelona. Food is good and the location is nice as well, it's all big glasses and you can watch your surroundings and enjoy the nice weather even indoor. A couple of friends shared a seafood paella and my girlfriend and I shared a vegetarian pizza and some tapas (croquettes and some very good cheese). Another friend got a capricciosa. We explicitly ordered the vegetarian variation of the tapas with aubergines rather than meat. They brought us the dish and I cut one of the croquettes in half and noticed there were tiny pieces of meat on the inside. I am not vegetarian but my girlfriend is so I took a piece and tasted it. It looked like meat to me. I asked the waiters if that was meat, I thought it could have been some fake one, and they told me those tiny pieces were aubergines. I asked multiple times, because I wasn't sure and they assured me that it was not meat. After a while - my girlfriend didn't eat the tapas yet - one of the waitresses got the plate, saying they made a mistake and they brought us the ACTUAL vegetarian variation after a few minutes: there were no pieces that resembled meat and the filling of the croquettes was darker, meaning they used aubergines. At the end of the night they even made us pay for the croquettes. We really disliked this behaviour. I understand mistakes can be made, we're all human, but they insisted saying we were wrong and then they even put one portion of the tapas in the check. Food was good, didn't like their...

So I will leave 5 stars mostly cuz of the employees, especially Juned who is really giving an extra service! There is also Eddy who I have to mention as well. Thank you guys :)

We have moved in the neighborhood and since our kitchen was not done yet, we became almost daily guests. The food is pretty good. Pizza is amazing. Really! What I liked a lot is that made a regular salad for me that was not on the list. And now I keep eating it every time I go there. Prices are acceptable - I would say perfect value for the money.

Mojito is great but pretty expensive (10€). So probably I wont be drinking it that often :)))

Place is totally KIDS & DOGS FRIENDLY so if u have kids and/or dogs, don’t hesitate to go there!

The only thing I didn’t like, and I sincerely hope its not the boss who’s writing, are the replies on the negative reviews here. I was reading all the reviews before leaving mine and the person replying always answers the same thing to the negative ones - that the restaurant does not agree with it. As a business owner and a person with a lot of years of experience in PR & Marketing, every review is a chance to improve. Saying that we don’t agree with people who are leaving us bad reviews, does not leave a good impression. So if u’ll change this tiny detail, everything will be perfect!

Keep on with a good job (and good people working in your...
