J&R Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

We were looking for breakfast. Police were inside having coffee. In Canada police presence this always means the place and food are excellent. We were not disappointed. The pictures tell the whole story. Delicious food, that I failed to take a picture of but it was presented just like you see in the picture, nice atmosphere, outside tables & chairs and lovely staff who worked hard to get our order correct. It's a typical Spanish place with the food you would expect, but high quality and with a good price. We had dinner there twice. The first timeI had a regular steak with fries, which was as good as you can expect from this kind of place.

The second time it was our last night in Spain so we decided to have tapas and we had A LOT of them. The majority of them were amazing, their Pincho Moruno is amazing and their bravas are really good.

Excellent and very helpful staff, just a short walk from where the coach left us after picking us up from the cruise ship. The staff were very helpful and not at all pretentious, they helped us understand the menu as we do not speak Spanish and even made suggestions for some food that we should order and we were very grateful for that.
