From start to finish, Margarit blew us away. We started with a complementary hummus, vibrant, bright, smooth with a little chunk from the garbanzos. We ordered the watermelon and feta salad, sits with some tomatoes - similar to a panzanella. Then we had the meagre fish, presented similarly to a crudo - half chili oil/half lemon oil - light and crisp. The aubergine/eggplant was one of our favorites: charred, smoky, spicy, sweet, creamy. Each bite melted in your mouth! Lastly, the creamy orzo with whole prawns - the sweetness of the prawns paired really well with the tomato, parsley, and dill sauce that presented as a perfect vessel for the orzo.

Mejor Blanc (with almonds) topped with a poached pear and apple gelee turned a warm night into a cool one. We splurged and also had the tulumba with a saffron cream, pistachios, and delicate edible flowers.

Just take a breath for a second, because that was one heck of a...

This restaurant should have a Michelin star.

Exquisite food inspired by Greek and Mediterranean traditions but true modern haute cuisine served by smart and attentive staff.

We had the Tarama with pickled mussels, Mackerel Souvlaki, Palestinian Lamb, and the amazing bread with olives and feta.

For drinks we went with the slightly carbonated Foresta (Cab Franc) Rosato.

Desert was Musician’s dessert, which is figs, sweet almond paste and dried apricots, finished with liqueur Mistela that you pour into your mouth from on high.

Finally, we ended with a Greek liqueur/digestif called Mastiha. A clear liqueur, which is like drinking a pine tree. Very satisfying.

Reservations, especially for evenings and weekends, are recommended as it’s a small space.

You MUST try this...

Randomly found this gem after a hike on Mt. Juic. It’s casual. Food is next-level delicious.

We had the pita appetizer, which was NOTHING like what it sounds. It was a mouthwatering open empanada-like thing with spinach, feta, sesame seeds, and I don’t know what else. Amazing.

We also had the monkfish with artichoke and fava beans. Sounds insipid, but it was the best new flavor I’ve experienced in a long time. There were 3 of us, and we ordered their sourdough bread so we could soak up all the “gravy” /sauce / suquet/ created by the combo of those 3 ingredients.

We also got a sausage dish with romesco sauce. Delicious. Last thing was a beef stew. Really good.

We...

Exceptional Greek. The pita, monkfish, and broken tortilla were particularly excellent.

Magnificent restaurant setting, combination of old ceiling building with modern decoration.Super nice atmosphere for a friends/family gathering or a romantic dinner. Mediterranean fusion cuisine with a greek twist. The menu offers a wide variety of starters , main dishes and desserts. We had spanakopita, fava , a beans dish and frozen yogurt with pasteli for dessert. Everything was delicious. The restaurant caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of the best wines of the Mediterranean region ( Greece, Italy, Spain - natural and non natural as well). One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Highly recommended
