Jardines de Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer — Attraction in Barcelona

Its a beautiful and peaceful garden on Montjuic, which is a lesser known attraction in Barcelona. It's a hidden gem and so, has relatively fewer visitors. The best time to visit would be Spring because that's when the additional beauty and scent of the colourful flower patches can be enjoyed. But even without flowers, it would be a perfect spot for a relaxing outdoor hangout when it's warmer. Lastly, this garden also makes for a great viewpoint. The view from here is breathtaking and includes the Sagrada familia, the Glories building, the church atop Mount Tibidabo and of course the rest of the city. Beautiful garden/park to walk around, sit on the grass for a picnic... Gets a bit crowded on weekends and holidays but the atmosphere is always nice. Public transport is not very comfortable, as there are only busses and the Funicular. The best way to get here is on foot, from Av. Paralel or from Pl. Like every single garden in Catalunya, this one is a green marvel. Less sumptuos than other neighboring gardens but not short of beauty, holds a water plants area, a cute little bridge over the water to take your romantic photos, seem to be a place where dogs are happy and a good jogging trail.
