Quinoa Bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

Sadly,google doesn't give one the option to rate lower than 1 star and i'm not someone to exaggerate or paint a false picture,but honestly.I don't think i've ever experienced such horrific customer service. The minute me and my misses walked into this place,we got the feeling that we weren't wanted or welcome and i suspect that this could have something to do with both of us being melanated. We weren't rude and didn't give off bad energy, but that's exactly what we got from the woman who served us. When we sat down and looked through the scarce menu, I asked the woman a few questions and she clearly couldn't hear me,but was reluctant to come over. When she did finally come over I asked what were the ingredients for the qunioa burger. Like was the patty strictly made from quinoa or anything else to make it meaty and I got the absolute dirtiest look ever(which my misses happened to spot). my head was down looking at the menu whilst I received this dirty look and once my misses informed me we stormed out.

To my melanated people's interested in visiting this place,i'd say dodge it,especially if the short haired woman with a circular nose...

Really small place and I actually walked by expecting something bigger. There's no hot food here it's all veggie/vegan sandwiches more or less. I'm always hesitant getting a sandwich because of the bread. There's either too much or the quality of the bread is bad. I ordered El Cataleno. After 2 bites I complimented the cook. It was great I have to say and the bread is delicious! Rectangle in shape, crunchy but not too much you can't enjoy the fillings and just the perfect amount of bread to want a sandwich. It was €6, And I had a clara which was 2.50. To take away I got vegan carrot and coco cake which I still haven't tasted. The cake was the only grudge with everything. I’m just going to say this, all of my meat eating travel buddies lost their minds over this place, so much so that we went out of our way to get back here twice in a 4 day trip (I was the lone vegetarian they wanted to accommodate). Them sampling my burger didn’t help matters any. 😂😂 Every dish ordered was absolutely delicious. The flavors constitute a party in your mouth. If you go, you have to do the La Maxi (quinoa burger) and the Escalivado panini! Their carrot cake is everything, perfect on flavor, moisture, and that light frosting. . .
