I would love to leave a better review.....but. The owner was truly welcoming and made us feel welcomed. The first problem is she shared with us that on Sunday night they try to sell there items so on Tuesday when the open they will serve only fresh. We were there on Sunday night! As a Chef I understand rotation but this was insulting, but her smile and care overrules our heads. We order about 5 to six tapas and one was mushrooms. She shared they didn't have mushrooms but suggested the clams and then later pulpo. The pulpo was mushy and had a foul odor and taste and the clams were good for about 12 at the most. At this point I am not overly impressed with fried and salty food or mushy pulpo. But the kicker was the $99 euro bill with no alchohol just bottle water. The most expensive meal the whole trip for nasty food. $23.00 clams in place of $4...

This place is a tiny but the tastiest of all seafood we had in Barcelona. The owners are a brother and a sister, both quite delicate people and super friendly. One of our daughters could speak a bit of Spanish and the owner was so kind to talk slowly to her and correct her mistakes if she made any. We had a bunch of dishes, all recommendations by the owner. We left nothing on the plate, even the younger, more picky kids in our family. Everything was super-fresh, super-tasty and many of the dishes were authentic, that is new to us. We would definitely recommend this little place for a local experience. If you are planning to eat after 12:30, expect to have very limited space.
