We arrived Barcelona late after missing our connecting flight at London from Virginia. The guys at the hotel across the street were we were staying (Tryp Apolo) recommended this restaurant. Whoa, whoa, whoa. We ate that first night there and after trying a few other places around La Rambla the following two days, we ended up doing all our meal for the rest of the week at Los Leones. The owner Francisco and his two main waiters (Rafael and Cesar) were the best. They surprised us on every meal with something different. We only ordered food when we wanted paella. The waiter was nice enough to recommend some dishes and even fill us in on the food schedule in Barcelona (lunch/dinner isn't until late). Ultimately we ordered a pizza! How original? I sit outside and I wasnt served at all and he serves other tables inside the main door that just arrived. The other staff member i asked for wifi so they knew i was here.
