everything is delicious and the coffee is great! But the dirt that is literally always in the cafe: animal hair, some leaves, hair, papers... kills any appetite Unfortunately, the downsides of staying in your cafe do not end there. You have installed jammers of any connection, which literally cuts off the phone from receiving any notifications! Literally the very first table from the door (entrance) already cuts you off from the outside world.
You cannot sit quietly, knowing that if something happens - you will receive an SMS and react.
You are literally just cut off from the network! Okay, if these are problems of the premises, but you are doing this on purpose! You do not even install Wi-Fi to somehow solve the problem. Are you against working on a laptop? This is absolutely normal, but then just put a prejudice about the ban on work, but jamming literally any connection - this is such nonsense!
After your cafe, the phone is still not able to catch a signal for 5 minutes and work normally. Really great food and coffee, but weren't you yourself pleased to provide the best service in the form of such a base as cleanliness of the premises and the ability to simply have a connection? This...

Hm .. editing, given the teamâs response: Agreed, the interaction was indeed very polite in the cafe. Iâm surprised and a bit disappointed to receive a response suggesting I took things wrong â I simply complied with their policy by going elsewhere to work on my laptop. It was not a negative interaction, just a clarification that indicated I needed to go elsewhere to work. Thatâs okay ⊠if you implement policies that exclude certain types of customers, you must anticipate that they will respect your policies, no?
Given that I had found this cafe after searching online specifically for places to sit and work on a laptop, I thought it would be helpful to others to be made aware. Policies change. I didnât notice any computer policies posted in the cafe, but I could have very easily missed them (too busy looking at the cinnamon roll).
Sadly, following this response from the team, I will look elsewhere whether or not I have my computer...
Read moreSlowMov is my favorite coffee shop and roastery in Barcelona. Whenever I am in the city, it is my first stop in the morning. I love to go when they go as soon as they open and watch young families come in and out, friends talk, and then the creatives who work on their computers. The owners and baristas are all super sweet so you feel like youâre ordering coffee with an old friend. Iâve tried everything on the menu, but the coffee with milk is a classic and the best. The other reason why I come to SlowMov is because of the quality of the ingredients. The coffee is ethically sourced. The milk is from an organic dairy farm in the north of cataluña. And the baked snacks are always delicious. When we opened a guest house outside the city, we came to SlowMov first to source all our coffee needs. Thank you for this space of peace and caffeine in the middle of GrĂ cia â the best neighborhood...
