First of all, you and your waiters started staring at us with the intention that we have to move after just one hour. We still had half of the pizza and full drinks and one waiter asked if we want to take away our pizza which is rude if you can still see us eating and we haven’t even asked for it. We were not warned that we will have to move out. Usually people enjoy evenings in Barcelona and sit more than 30min in the restaurant. We had a full dinner, and we ordered more than one cocktail each so we were not just spending time sitting and ordering nothing. I even said that we will order the dessert in a bit. Your waiter was embarrassed by you and how you act with customers so next time just work not only for quantity but for quality as well. And of course, chill and enjoy life yourself, we’re enjoying as much as we can until things like this happen :)
P.S. Pizza and drinks were great, but you can find this kind of quality food in almost every second pizza restaurant in...
Read moreWe ordered a pizza to go and they told us to wait for 30 minutes which wasn't a problem but we had already arrived with a pizza from a different place. We weren't allowed to sit on the terrace or inside their restaurant so we sat around the corner in what looked like their storage room on a table by ourselves with nobody around us. We ordered one drink each and waited. After 30 minutes we got hungry so we ate two bites of dry crust (not even a slice) from the pizza we already brought with us and immediately got yelled at. We told them we were waiting for our pizza and didn't mean to be rude but they continued to yell. When we told them to please stop screaming at us they took our drinks that we'd already paid for (still the first ones we had ordered) and told us to leave, after 40 minutes. Literally never been treated like that in...
Read moreI visited Maramaia last weekend and i was impressed in various aspects. I sat in the cosy terrace with friends. The service is really nice, they explain the menu and also mention options that might not be available on the day.
All of us ordered pizza and i have to say that it’s the first time in Barcelona that all of them were exquisite. The quality of the ingredients is the best i’ve tried in the city and the portions are very generous. So if you like pizza rich in ingredients this is the place for you. The dough is great too, i like it a bit less crunchy but this is personal preference, they did nothing wrong.
The owners are very friendly and approachable people. The limoncello at the end was a special touch! Will go back...
