we came to the plaza as a Sunday regular, because of square activities, children, and today's good weather.

however, the meal experience is really putting me off food served really slow (we have no rush, so this is still ok) food is really just so, so, bar finger food. NOT willing to open umbrella for us, as we have young kids, who doesn't want to eat with eyes glared by the sunshine Persist with request for tip, yes, I was surprised that is requested here in Barcelona, I voted not to give (item price attached) shocking part that pushed me to share my experience (complaint), we paid the bill they brought to us without being asked. immediately, we were asked to leave, not allowing me to finish the drink I have paid for (20% of the jar). Normally it's a 4-star place at least. I've enjoyed drinks many times there but the situation of yesterday put me off from ever coming back. We get a table outside to have a drink and some olives, the server says that technically outside is just for food but it's not busy so we can stay. I said food is olives and also there were 4 other tables without the food. Closer to 9pm he comes to us and demands that we leave even though we still had our drinks, just because two pretty girls were waiting for a table. At that point at least four tables didn't have food either. I understand he may have had a bad night but being rude, murmuring words while walking away, and kicking us out because of some arbitrary decision he took, was definitely not okay....

I am disappointed. I came here to eat something tasty because I remembered it was really nice a year ago. I just saw one waitress and I think she was overstrained. No "Hola" nothing to say hello, she came and directly "Que quieres?". I ordered a burger and a beer, after dome minutes I got already my beer and burger but without silverware and napkin. So I ask for it bit she forgot it. Burger: Cold meat, dry bread and taste a bit like nothing. Potatoes: No salt and cold.
