The service is horrible, we had to beg for the waitress to come and get our orders, we were in 7 people, spent an significant amount at the bar with drinks and food, and they don’t allow costumers to split the bill. When we asked to make an exception because it would be easier for us, they said no and told us to read the sign at the door before entering the restaurant! RUDE PEOPLE! and the food comes cold. ———————— PART 2 Nobody is playing with anyone, this page is open to make comments either good or bad, if you think it’s an absurd my comment, I also think is an absurd that you don’t let people split the bills, and make comments victimizing the situation saying about “worker that is working to put food in the table for the family” Another thing, I’m not complaining about the waitress, I’m complaining about the rule that the place created, because I have been to other places and it had never happened before. What I mentioned about the waitress is the way she reacted when we asked to split the bill!

Good place to eat some tapas in gracia. I think they have a good selection of tapas, perhaps a few too many as you might be confused whether to choose from the board they have at the door or their menu. Also, I think sometimes it's better to have fewer options and master them rather than more average options. We ordered a few tapas. The usual ensaladilla, croquetas, bravas, some eggplant, and it was good. Nothing that will blow your mind but we ate it all without complains. Despite how busy it was and the being only 2 guys serving the food came reasonably quickly and no mistakes were made. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Perhaps cleanness could be improved as our table was a bit dirty but literally they had no time to clean it, they were non stop serving and attending clients. If you want some easy going tapas, nothing too sophisticated and tasty yeah, come ans try them.

After reading some reviews from both ends of the spectrum, I had to share my two cents. I spent a nice afternoon here in the end of December. Maybe it was the vermuth, the tapas, the street musicians or being on holidays. But I had a great time (and i believe that’s what matters in the end). I’m a tourist in Barcelona who tried some good Spanish food before. Based on this, I can say the food was mostly good. Looking around and seeing (or hearing) so many locals, this is confirmed. The croquetas and patates bravas were great. Fried sardines were well fried but the fish could have been better. The vermouth however, was magical (as you can see I chain-drank them!) I came to this square since it’s supposedly less touristy and that came out to be true. Hope to come back here again when it’s warmer to stay longer.

This has been the absolute worst restaurant experience. If this place could get negative stars we would. I wouldn’t go back even if they paid us.... even if the meal was free it wouldn’t be worth it. My friends and I came here because it had high ratings for large groups and late night eats. Unfortunately this place was bad for both. Their Yelp listing said they close at 2:30 in the morning and Google said 2:00 in the morning. Either way we felt it was a safe bet for a group of 13 at midnight. The waiter informed us they weren't cooking anymore and that we could only eat what was already made. On top of that he wouldn't let us break up our group into smaller ones so we could have smaller bills. He would only do one large bill. Despite these limitations, we said okay and started ordering at the counter. He would only let us get 2 tapas per person and told us which ones we could get. One of my friends was in the middle of ordering and he stopped her and said no that's all you get. We didn't have clean tables. We had to talk to another group if we could have their table so we could sit together. When they finally did serve the order it was literally slopped together. The albondigas were spilled all over the plate. Most of the food was cold or didn't taste good. We had one tapa that was barely edible. My friend wanted to order another one for her small child and the waiter turned us down. My other friends tried to order drinks from the bar, the bartender turned them away to ask the waiter (who at this point already showed he didn't want us there). In the middle of all this, the cook walked a trash can right through the dining area to the street. We had to move chairs out of the way to even let him out. This was smelly, stinky garbage. It was unfortunate because our tab was only €70 but we would have spent 5 times that easily. The waiter came across as racist because we are all American. He treated the few remaining patrons better. He avoided us the entire time. I could write even more but you guys should get the idea... this place isn't at all what's described. Avoid at all cost. I wish we took pictures but I was too embarrassed and wanted to leave because I left my...

The food there is really good and the price seems fair on fist sight, but the Hummus was really disappointing. The Hummus was served with only a few weird, dry bread sticks, which were not tasty at all and finished it in 1 minutes, but there was still 90 % of the hummus left. I don‘t think the sticks fit really good, and we would expect to get some bread at least. But when ordering the bread seperetely we just received 4 very thin pieces of toasted bread, which we finished again in minute, and we still had the whole hummus left. Also the 4 little pieces were quite expensive. It’s just bread guys, come on. We normally don‘t like to do that from ethical perspective but we just had to leave the hummus, because we have just ended ordering 2 more bread plate in order to be able to finish it.

I get that people from Barcelona have big issue with tourists but the restaurant charged us 2 additional fees. The first one was just 10% of the whole bill, which should be the service fee I think. But additionally we were charged another fee because we were sitting outside and it was 20 Cent per product. As we ordered a lot of small dishes and few drinks we ended up paying 9 Euros additional when the bill was just 40 Euros, which is quite high. I always love to give tips and am okay with common service fees of 10% but charging the fees two times really is a scam in my...

Probably the worst tapas and service I have had in my 5+ years in Barcelona. I’ve been coming here for a while to enjoy a snack and vermut in the sun and I think the chef/management/etc must have changed recently because my recent experience was truly awful. It took us an hour to get our first drink because they were changing turns as we were first sat down. I get there might be a small pause in service as you change staff, but to keep us waiting for an hour while closing out the other tables (who they also all let order a final round before closing) is absurd. We would have left but had waited half an hour for a table (as it goes on a nice day in plaça del sol). The food was then horrible- the chicken wings were meant to have an Asian/soy glaze but instead they came in a bowl, floating in a pool of flavorless oil. The primary spice used on the wings themselves was cinnamon, it was bizarre. The pan con tomate was made with stale bread including the bread ends, seemed like old bread bought at Condis or something. The meatballs were served cold (I believe they weren’t fully defrosted), also with no flavor, we sent them back because of the temperature it didn’t seem a good idea to eat them. Just awful. I hope things improve but I won’t...
