From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome. The menu offered a great variety of drinks and food, which were not too many and not too little. The flavours made sense and were not too typical as opposed to the dishes I find are commonly offered as vegan alternatives or in most vegan restaurants I have been to.
The food was incredible! Great taste and portion size. The homemade brioche bun was soft & fluffy, the crispy fried tofu wings were well flavoured throughout. The highlight of my burger was the agave mustard sauce - I hope it will be available to buy one day. I‘m very picky when it comes to fries, but Vrutal blew me away with theirs.
Although the main was perfect, I had to make space for dessert and I am so glad I did! Their NY Cheesecake was tasty and had a lovely texture but the star for the chocolate lover is the Triple Chocolate Cake. Perfectly balanced and moist. I felt like a little girl and couldn’t hide my enjoyment while I devoured every bite.
The passion and gratitude of the staff is clearly displayed through the lovely service and the tasty, well...
Read moreThe burger was the best vegan burger I've had in a long time since trips to London (best I've eaten in Barcelona).
Blind date burger was 5 star and the vegan brioche bun made it strong 5 (as hard to find vegan burgers with them because of the usual pain of having milk in them). Fries were tasty but quite a small portion for 14€. The mule cocktail was nice, served in traditional copper cup - good amount of alcohol too!
Service was great, friendly and welcoming - we had to sit outside on the terrace at first, but they made sure we had the heaters on and then we moved inside.
Was my first visit and also had the cauliflower wings. They were over spiced, with too much black pepper but towards the end of our meal the chef asked us how they were, explained they were not supposed to taste like that and then removed them from the bill. Great because we didnt know what they should taste like (but I'm not one to waste food, so wanted to try to finish them!). Great spot and customer service.
Thanks Chef and staff! See you...
Read moreAs a vegetarian who doesn’t eat fish or animal products, I had a hard time finding a good vegan restaurant in Barcelona. After searching quite a bit, I finally found this place — and that too on the last day of my trip! Honestly, it was a gem.
The food was amazing. There were four of us — we all ordered burgers, one friend got a salad, and we also had drinks and dessert. Everything was delicious, and even my non-vegetarian friend was amazed by the taste. The price was reasonable as well.
The hostess was super cute and very welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ve added a couple of pictures of the food we tried — it was one of the best meals I had during my Barcelona trip.
To be honest, I was quite disappointed with the lack of vegetarian and vegan options in Barcelona, and I mostly had to rely on snacks. But this place truly saved the day. Next time I’m in Barcelona, I’m definitely coming back — and I’m already recommending it to my friends. A must-visit for anyone looking for...
