Skatepark Mar Bella — Attraction in Barcelona

This is a reasonably newly built park which had an amazing snake run through it. There are a few rails and ledges at one end and a number of bowls and transitions at the other. There are also lights which the locals said are on all night... All night, so if you wake up at 3am and fancy a skate the park is open. Being right on the beach means you can have a quick duo I'm the sea if you get too hot. The only down point is that there isn't a shop very close, but the blokes who sell beers wander through occasionally so if you are thirsty...

Skatepark difficulty level: for all levels. The Mar Bella Skate Park in Barcelona has been designed with skateboarders of all levels in mind. There are different elements and different areas for skateboarders of different skill levels and styles. At the top level of the skate park is an outdoor skate area with stairs, railings and mounds. At the other end, closer to the beach, there is a pool with a smaller area for beginners and a large bowl section for more experienced...

Love this park it's as though it has been beamed in from another era of skateboarding with it's emphasis on snake runs and bowls. The flow is unreal. I visited early on a Thursday, before noon, and there were a lot of kids getting lessons. Not a problem just something to be mindful of. The kids were cool, all shouting out "VOY" before...
