Mercat del Poblenou — Local services in Barcelona

Wonderful barrio market. It's been one of our favorite shopping spots for years. Honestly a bit expensive and sometimes time consuming (because many buyers need their meat and fish cleaned up and cut up in a thousand different ways) but always fun. Service usually very friendly in all stalls. There is also a Mercadona upstairs for your less upscale purchases. We are so happy we have this market nearby. Great small market with almost you need for your life of holidays in Barcelona. Not a touristic with an OK prices. Couple of fish stalls and couple of meat stalls like 4-5 and of course xarcuteria (jamon shop) and really delicious stall with olives, anchovies and cheese.
