Prevented from leaving the restaurant whilst a staff member brandished a knife at us.

I am allergic to nuts and let our waiter know as I ordered. Midway through my first slice, I saw what appeared to be a pine nut on my plate - my friend ate it to confirm and it was.

I went to calmly explain to our waiter what had happened - just to let them know a potentially dangerous mistake had been made - and he said "no it's impossible, it's not on the pizza". He kept insisting that pine nuts weren't one of the ingredients on the pizza and that it couldn't have happened. He then started saying "the pizza is okay for me". That's all well for you - you're not the one with the nut allergy.

He then angrily picked up my pizza and ate a whole slice in one bite to prove it was okay for him (?). As he was being so disrespectful, we decided to walk out without paying. The staff cornered prevented us from leaving whilst one was holding a knife. We eventually paid for the other pizzas and left, all the while the staff refused to believe that they could have possibly had a pine nut slip into the wrong dish in a busy kitchen.

I recently went on vacation in Barcelona and had the fortune of discovering the pizzeria "da Nanni" a true gem that won me over from the first bite.

My experience began with a plate of fettuccine alla bolognese that left me speechless: perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, flavorful sauce. From that moment, I knew I would return.

The following evening, I decided to take a girl there for a date, and "da Nanni" did not disappoint—if anything, it made the evening unforgettable. We tried the ravioli and carbonara, both prepared with the freshest ingredients and attention to detail. The skill of the chefs is evident, as they know how to bring out the best of Italian cuisine.

The dessert capped off the meal beautifully: a delicious pan di stelle and a perfectly balanced tiramisu, both of which ended the evening in the best way possible. A special shoutout goes to Maurizio, the waiter, who provided us with impeccable service, always attentive and friendly.

We ordered a pizza for take away. After about 45 minutes the waiter recognized, that our order has been forgotten. As soon as he mentioned that, he gave the order again to the kitchen and we got our pizza with about 5 minutes more waiting. Two days later, we wanted to eat in house. We ordered drinks and two pizzas. The drinks came fast, but they again forgot to do our food order. After waiting 75 minutes, I had to ask the waitress about our order.
