Please read: especially for VEGANS!
I honestly would give it 0 stars if this option was available. We purposefully went to this restaurant after reading the reviews for vegetarian/vegan options. BIG mistake, we chose the vegetables tacos and vegetable quesadilla with sour cream and cheese (for my partner who is vegan), and the grilled chicken breast with fries for myself.
We specifically asked for NO sour cream and NO cheese when we ordered in the Tacos and Quesadillas, the waiter nodded. When we received our food there was cheese on top of the Quesadillas. As you can see in the pictures, we tried to scrap off the cheese and eat the quesadilla and try to enjoy our meal, my partner had taken a few bites and to found out that there was cheese inside it!!! The waiter did not apologise, and said “yes there’s cheese in there, what would you like me to do? Make you a new one?” I have never experienced anything like this, the lack of acknowledgement. Vegans have made this choice to avoid certain foods and for them to unknowingly eat them, after telling the staff clearly not to include it in the food is infuriating.
Appalling services, the food was ghastly, the vegetables tacos were bland, needed flavour. The chicken was too salty and dry. Please do not choose the Mexican cuisine if...
Read moreWhat a nice little surprise this place was to stumble across on my trip to Málaga. My friend and I were walking along the harbor and we’re pleased to find this strip of restaurants and shops in this already awesome area. We decided to eat at Amigos grill because we had smelled their cuisine first. Even over the ocean breeze and other places with outdoor seating. Even though there was one other restaurant in the row, we had originally thought that this would be the better option. After finding a table in their section, I feel we should have maybe chose the other spot. Granted, I did take a look at the menu and saw their options so it wasn’t a food issue, it was partially due to the staff. We had the chicken tikka masala, lamb madras curry and onion bahjal. The food tasted alright but the portions definitely left us hungry after. Be sure to order rice and naan and maybe even 1–2 more dishes. I didn’t choose the Mexican food because I myself am a Mexican American from San Diego, California and so I know better than to order it outside of my home town. Overall, the food was a 3 but the staff was unwelcoming to my party so it definitely took them down...
Read moreFood is far from authentic and tastes just like it is out of jar from the supermarket... I'm from Bradford the curry capital and I can tell you this is a poverty effort and the prices are truly extortionate for what you get. Chicken is of poor quality too. The chicken pakoras are like eating sugar and the chicken bhuna and chicken balti are not much different only the balti is again like sugar and a few extra onions in the bhuna. You would not die eating this however it is boring to eat as it doesn't have any real tastes. I went as I am addicted to curry but this is poor! I even asked for extra green chillies on my curry and his response was we don't do green chillies......... What sort of place like this doesn't? Whoever says it is nice have never eaten a curry from Bradford and need there head examining or a shake...
