I have just come back from holiday in Torrequebrada and visited this bar daily as it was the nearest bar to our apartment on the route into benalmadina town. At first we found them a bit unfriendly but just put that down to the language barrier as most staff spoke little english and we try to speak as best Spanish we can, but as the days went on we started to notice they actually treated the Spanish different to foreign customers for example the spanish customers always received a bowl of nuts on arrival and were asked for their order but the foreign customers were ignored and had to go looking for a waiter to order without even receiving any snacks. One evening we ordered a paella as the couple next to us who were also Spanish were having one and it looked great with mussels and langoustines the lot! Ours arrived and it looked completely different it was just a sloppy mess of rice with no mussels or langoustines and barely any other meat in it. We were made to feel like we shouldn't be there! Avoid this place at all costs!
