Carte d'Or Beach Bar — Restaurant in Benalmádena

Called in for a drink on the way to the marina at Benalmadena. The outside seating area faces the beach and the sea entrance to the harbour, so good view. It was very windy on the day we visited and the location seemed to catch most of the wind but I guess that on a hot day, it would be perfect to catch cooling breeze. It was very busy and we waited quite a while to be served but as we weren't in a hurry, that was OK. It was very conviently located in the beach access to our hotel with a very nice view out in the ocean and entry of the porto marina. The food was not gourmet but reasonably priced. We also had the really good idea of ordering the cheese from the snacks menu (they were tapas) with different kinds of tapas so we kinda had a fondue. it is a nice bar with good atmosphere, but in my opinion the food was not great. I ordered an omelette (the Spanish one) which, I found, didn't have any taste. It was just very bland and weird looking (maybe you can see it in the pic). The grilled ham and cheese sandwich my partner ordered was fine but also nothing too interesting.
