Restaurante Almarina Beach — Restaurant in Benalmádena

The food at the restaurant was quite good, but unfortunately, the service was lacking due to several order mix-ups. Out of our group of 9 people, 4 of us received the wrong dishes. For example, I ordered octopus and was served calamari instead, which resulted in me waiting extra time for the correct order. Additionally, I ordered a salad and French fries, but received garlic potatoes instead. By that point, I was so tired and hungry that I didn’t bother asking to have it corrected again.

Several others in our group experienced similar mistakes, and despite the repeated errors, we were not offered any compensation or even an apology. The situation could have been handled much better. The manager’s decision to offer 1 free drink for 9 people, after we had already requested the bill and were ready to leave after two hours of mistakes, felt like an insult. We ultimately refused the drink.

I used to come once a week since I live here and we enjoy the view . But I won't come back. It's the second time we ask for another drink and nothing comes...20/30/40 minutes..and still nothing I don't get it... Don't you want people to consume more? I have a special comment to make to the bold waiter. Who is awfully unpolite. I gently asked him something in spanish, he seemed busy so told me to wait. I waited, came back and walked straight in front of me without even looking at me. (Do I need to be an old British so waiters respect me) Then I asked him if I could move a little over that little table to where I could sit away from other people with my girlfriend, he replie NO, in a way I wish no client can be talked that way ever. I felt bad. Then the nice slim smiley waiter took another order from us but never came back with it. I could forgive him since he was kind and was very busy. (Even if it's no excuse) But this is the second time it happens. You guys need more organisazion to attend those...

We went there with my mom for my birthday and it was terrible. Service was poor and staff was not helpful. We ordered some drinks first and said that we will order food later but the waiter just ignored us. When we managed to place our order noone told us how the dish would be served. They brought us grill and rare meat so we would cook it ourselves. The temperature outside was 36 degrees. It was horrible. Meat juice and fat was splashing everywhere and it ruined my dress. When we tried to complain the waiter just told us this is how we serve it. But we wanted to know it before we were ordering. He was rude and not helpful at all, just ignored what we were complaining about. We wanted to speak to the manager and turns out he is the manager. At the end they brought us bill and wanted to charge us for the bread that we didn’t even order. Overall horrible service and expensive....
